Drafted originally by BOS, failed to sign, went back...drafted by DET, then traded to Austin along with a RP for a 4* catcher who is only mediocre at this point.

So no Charlotte

Larrabee signed a 6yr extension for 110.8 with a 4th year opt out. You want it?

Woo hoo!

I'll be out of town the next few days, so if Larrabee gets a contract offer use your best judgement on what to do.

If the contract is only through his arbitration years, you can automatically say "yes". If it's longer than that, use your judgement. I like the Cards, so I'm willing to give them a moderate hometown discount.

Good timing. I'll say yes, just because I'll be gone for 4 days.

Bolt got offered and signed a 6yr 80.64 offer with a opt out in 57. That pays his next 3 years of Arb, 2 years of FA, and the 3rd year of FA is optional.

Powers signed a 7yr 167.8 with ATL, so 2 years of ARB and 5 of FA...you want it?

Nah Powers really wants to wait until he is up for free agency to decided where he will play his prime years.

Out of curiosity since our original players tried to put together a late career super team to break the curse....have the Cubs won the World Series yet?
