Coaching update 2051
King remains employed with Cincy as the manager of the AZL Reds and is rated as Fair. He had a great 2050 season going 31-25 for 1st place, but a rough 51 season going 17-39....but thats the nature of Rookie ball and changing rosters. Nuka is also still the Hitting coach in Birmingham AA ball. The Barons had a rough 50 and 51 season going 69-71 and 66-74 respectively, but Nuka is getting nothing but love from the evaluators. Nuka is rated as Good and is also listed as having the potential to be a great manager someday. Powers is still working in the ABL as a bench coach, but is pretty much a champ everywhere he goes down under. He won the playoffs in 47, 49, and 50...and has only missed the playoffs in the 51 season. He is rated as average currently. Snyder is still hopping from gig to gig in the PECOS and has been semi-successful so far. His best season was a 38-32 season and is rated as fair. Keeran is a playoff machine in the HH international league. He has made the playoffs every year with the only exception being the 51 season. He is rated as decent, and is most likely poised to make a move to the MLB soon. Now the BIG news Long has been hired on as the Rays hitting coach and is rated as unproven. He has been given a 3yr 220k contract and if he does well, will most likely get some manager looks. Marks has been hired as the Austin Mulleteers manager and has been given a 3yr 332k contract. He is rated as inexperienced, but Austin has chemistry issues that apparently a controlling coach needs to handle. Hopefully he will take King to the next level after his stellar rookie season. |

Quick question - Out of all the original prospects, who got paid the most?

In no particular order here are the salary totals (in millions) - total years Marks 431.38 - 20 Sharpe 405.0625 - 18 Snyder 357.5225 - 18 Staples 431.2625 - 19 Seyde 384.2775 - 22 Powers 241.7825 -17 Long 407.9825 - 21 King 254.930 - 17 Keeran 339.580 - 18 Marks fleeced the Cubs for 28.5 in each of his last two seasons to take the total dollars, but on a per year, Staples is the man. |

I'm hoping Garry Powers can get a massive contract once he hits FA! Looking forward a lifetime type deal

Sorry for all the delays the last few days...my baseball schedule and work are making it really difficult to carve time out for this. I will get after it again tomorrow evening and hopefully Friday morning.

On the coaching front, Barry Powers refused to resign with the ABL and is demanding 784k contract in the MLB....lets see if he gets the shot after the 52 season is done.

Ok Jr., time to man up and earn your keep. No picky backing off dad's name anymore.
2 years ago before the International leagues were added to OOTP, I honestly didn't even know they HAD pro baseball in the Netherlands. Now "I'm" becoming a well respected coach and I imagine a national hero over there. Can't wait to get to the bigs as a manager but that's kind of cool in a weird way lol. |

Also excited to see what the Mets can be here pretty soon. 2 of our prospects and the top minor league system including a shortstop and 3 pitchers?
Calling it: there's gonna be multiple titles in the Big Apple. |
