Coming off of a 3 WAR season in '32, Romo had a very disappoint 2033 season as his batting regressed heavily to his poor performance of 2 seasons ago.

Due to budget constraints coming up, Romo will likely be moved. The team was planning on trading DeLatuer, but the OF's offseason recovery from injury has been delayed, so he is essentially untradeable.

As disappointing as Romo's season was, Chavez emerged as a league average platoon catcher.

Chavez will likely be the team's starting C next season.

After a somewhat slow start, Baker got hot in July ... then got injured ... but came back and picked up where he left off. The 23yo showed that he can be a viable NABO regular.

Tommy Tanks had his usual disappointing regular season except for an outstanding September to finish out his time with St Louis. White is a FA heading into the offseason and is not expected to be resigned.

At the trade deadline, the Portland (Wood)Peckers offered Amador for RP Rob Miehe, and StL accepted. As a result, the Shires traded young 2B Pat Files to Pennsylvania for CL prospect (71 POT) Aaron Peterson and SP Cabrera (who retired after the 2033 season.)

Amador produced 0.6 WAR for StL in 1/3 of a season, essentially being league average. Overall, he's realistically a 3-4 WAR 2B for 10M/y.

Amador will be the starting 2B for StL in 2034.

Hernandez got off to a really good start for the Shires, platooning at 2B, 1B, and DH, before dropping off in the summer months.

Hernandez will be a utility IF in 2034.

The 2031 Rookie of the Year and 2x All-Star had his most productive season during the 3rd year of his career. Kellam blasted out of the gates in April, before sustaining an injury in May. He struggled coming back from injury well into the month of July, before resurging in August and September.

The team backed-up Kellam with a combination of veteran Nasim Nunez (will leave the team as a FA after the season), and prospect Munday and Norberg. The team will follow the same plan in the 2034 season.

2x AS Leonard spent much of the season being a reliable doubles hitter before turning on the power in August and September. Acquired from Seattle for popular prospect Pete Brace, Leonard continues to be an above average NABO 3B.

Leonard will once again be the starting 3B in 2034, with the team hoping for production closer to the 5 WAR of 2032, rather than the 3 WAR in '31 and '33

The target of many offseason trade offers, Robert Arias, was solid for the Shires in 2033. Arias put up back-to-back above average seasons due to his well above average defense and average batting. The only downside of his season was slumping in August and September, which carried into an abysmal postseason performance.

With DeLauter starting the season on the IL, Arias will start the 2034 season in RF, moving back to LF once Chase returns to the team.

Alderman started and finished the season strong, enduring long slumps in May and July to salvage his 2033 season. His bat has taken some steps backward since his 144 OPS+ season in 2031. However, Alderman carried the Shires offense in the postseason and the team hopes that production continues into the 2034 campaign.

Alderman will start the season in LF before moving back to DH when Chase DeLauter returns sometime in late April.

Merrill, a 5x All Star and 2x Silver Slugger, was the team's best position player in 2033. His 114 OPS+ was his best performance in his 3 years as a Shire ... jacking 15 HR to go along with his 40 SB and elite defense in CF (2nd in Gold Glove voting), JM put up a 5 WAR season.

Merrill will once again being the starting CF, leading one the league's best defensive outfields.

Foster was pressed into premature NABO action due to injuries to Merrill and DeLauter, and saw some early success in his first 2 months before reality set in.

The 23yo CF will start the 2034 season in the minors, looking to continue his development and eventual return to the big leagues.

DeLauter battled injuries for much of the season, losing games and slumping, in the mid summer months, before suffering an abdominal injury that cost him the rest of the season and experienced setbacks healing over the offseason. When healthy, he was productive.

DeLauter will start the 2034 season on the IL and should rejoin the team in late April, taking over the starting job in RF.

Blair could possibly be this season's "Robert Arias", the 4th outfielder pressed into action and delivering quality production ... perhaps leading to an eventual starting role. Despite a slow start to the first 3 months, Blair was a monster in late game and extra innings situations ... delivering 3 walk off home runs. Blair settled in and improved his production the rest of the season, including an explosion in September that carried over into the postseason.

Blair will serve as the 4th outfielder in 2034, providing an adequate bat with elite defense.

Yamamoto, 2x CYA winner and 7x All-Star, was a CY Young candidate once again, before experiencing season-ending injury in July (the 2nd year in a row he was lost for the 2nd half of the season). While the injuries are a serious concern, Yamamoto is still one of the best SP in the league ... when he's healthy.

Yamamoto will be in the starting rotation in 2034, with the team taking extra precautions to manage his workload, so he will have a greater chance of being in the rotation for the playoff push and hopefully postseason play.

Filling in for injured Yamamoto, the 22yo Berardi was outstanding over his first 2 months, despite walking more batters than he struck out. The slipper fell off of Cinderella in September, but the team hopes the young hurler can rebound in 2034. The groundballer was able to capitalize on his team's great defense to limit the damage much of the time.

Berardi will start the 2034 season as the long reliever or in the minors, working on his control.

Tony Cruz has been outstanding for the Shires over his 1st 3 seasons. The preseason top 5 CYA candidate was 2nd in the running for much of the season before imploding in September, with some horrific BABIP bad luck.

Cruz is expected to be the team's #1 or #2 SP for the 2034 season and is projected to put up his usual 5 WAR season.

Aldegheri started off the season on the wrong foot and battled through the rest of the season to put up league average production. His production has decreased over the last 2 seasons, namely due to his HRA doubling, from 10 to 21.

Aldegheri will be the team's 4th SP in the rotation in 2034.

Bailey put up another solid season as the team's 4th starter. While his FIP based stats were a little worse, his run prevention was better.

Bailey will start the season as the 5th SP and is expected to be league average or better.

Last season's emerging story, Rummel went 11-3 filling in for the injured Yamamoto, but struggled through the 2033 season. Cooper saw his BABIP against increase by 50 points and his HRA rate jumped up.

Rummel will start the 2034 season as the teams long reliever and spot starter.

Despite lackluster metrics, Knack continued to be a valuable innings eater and run preventer, going 8-2 as the LR. Over the last 3 seasons as the LR, Knack has gone 23-8 with 5 saves, contributing over 300 IP in that role.

Knack is a FA at the end of the season and will not be resigned.

After an outstanding performance in his NABO 1st season last year, McGinnis was again effective in 2033, despite a high BABIP. McGinnis had an ridiculous July, showing his potential as an elite reliever.

McGinnis will start the 2034 season as the team's closer.

After the Shires traded Meihe to Portland, Gwyn was called up to the big league and was mostly effective. The high strikeout lefty reliever dominated at times and endured a couple of implosions. He looks like he should continue to get better in the upcoming years, and is dominant against LHBs.

Gwyn will be a regular middle reliever and lefty specialist in 2034.

Everhart improved to being a quality reliever on the strength of reducing his walks. His peripherals improved while his run prevention took a step back, namely due to changes in BABIP. With normalized peripherals and BABIP, Everhart should be a productive reliever going forward.

Everhart will start the 2034 as a middle reliever.

Lopez is the first piece of the 3-headed monster that led all of baseball in late game production. Pitching a career high 86 IP, Lopez produced 1.5 WAR worth of value and a 6-2 record, moving to 11-2 over the last 2 seasons.

Lopez will be the "6/7th inning reliever in 2034.

Feliz saw Lopez take a good portion of his innings in 2033, but he continued to provide great production as an incredibly productive RP, rated as the best in baseball.

Feliz will be the 7-8th inning reliever in 2034.

Once again, Lara was among the best closers in the game, finishing 2nd in reliever of the year award for the western league. He combines elite strikeout ability with good control and reasonable stamina.

Lara was able to increase his stamina from 35 to 40 over the offseason, and will begin the 2034 as the team's #1 SP ... and if all goes well, should be among the top SP in the game.

With the team being 13M over budget, the team traded C Drew Romo, 2B Wilfredo Lara, a prospect RP to New York for 2B prospect and a 1dst round pick.
