Ralph Cole
Ralph "Punjab" or "Askari" Cole, OF, is shown in the uniform of the Cincinnati Clowns. This isn't much of a photo, but it will have to suffice until we can find a better one of this player.

Steel Arm Dickey
"Steel Arm" Dickey was a pitcher with the Montgomery Grey Sox, St. Louis Stars, and St. Louis Giants in 1921 and 1922. There seems to be a dispute about his first name. Seamheads.com calls him Walter Claude Dickey. Pitchblackbaseball.com calls him John Claude Dickey. The Negro Baseball Register, by Dick Clark and Larry Lester, lists him as John "Steel Arm" Dickey.
Baseball-reference.com concurs with seamheads.com. |
