The St. Louis Cardinals have placed outfielder Jordan Walker on the 10-day injured list after he suffered a sprained finger during a 7-2 win over the Kansas City Royals on May 7.
Walker, 25, is expected to miss a week or two.
Infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez will be recalled from AAA Memphis where he was on an injury rehab.
Arrarez, 31, tore ligaments in his ankle on April 3 in a 10-3 win over Washington forcing him to go on the injured list.
He played in four games for the Cardinals, hitting .308 with no homers and three RBIs.
During his Memphis rehab, Arrez played in a pair of games hitting .750 with an RBI.
Before his injury, Walker had hit .246 in 32 games/31 starts hitting 13 home runs and collecting 19 RBIs.

The St. Louis Cardinals have sent rookie shortstop Wilman Diaz to AAA Memphis and called up 26-year-old outfielder Cameron Leary from the Redbirds.
Acquired from the Nationals in the offseason, the 24-year-old Diaz won the team's starting shortstop job during spring training despite having only played eight games in the majors.
Diaz started well but slumped in the second half of April and into May.
After 31 games played, he is hitting .188 with three home runs 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
With Luis Aarez coming off the disabled list and Nico Horner off to a strong start, Diaz was probably going to be squeezed out of a starting role for the time being.
Leary has gotten off to a strong start this season, leading the Redbirds in batting average (.278), home runs (six, tied with Max Williams) and RBIs (22).
This will be his third time with the Cardinals having made brief appearances in the majors in 2024 an 2027.
In 40 games/37 starts, Leary has hit .188 with seven home runs and 17 RBIs.
