From what I've read on here, creating a schedule maker is not an easy thing to do, so I don't know how the problem you brought up can be fixed. If the game can't create interleague schedules and can only create balanced shedules in which all teams share the same day off, I think Rchw's suggestion is the only one that works. That or you may have to seek schedules on the mod forum when league evolution changes take place.

I didn't say anything about it being a fix. If league evolution makes a change that the schedule function can't handle, never has handled and is not likely to handle in the future, then clearly league evolution is the problem. It should not make changes that other game modules can't handle. Design 101.

The other fundamental flaw is league evolution being on by default. It is unacceptable for such a powerful feature to make unexpected changes to a long time league. Keep this in mind when importing v14 games into v15. My previous experience has shown that league evolution gets turned on during this process. No warning is given.

OOTP 15 Feature List

Small request-

When having a draft that enables foreigners in a league based on a country (in MLB's case Canadians & PR?) could those guys be listed as coming out of a school from their own country or just simply put "out of Canada" for example?

This may also future proof the game if the MLB ever went with a international draft. As is, Instead of guys being drafted straight from the DR or any other foreign country according to their history these guys played amateur ball in the US.

It's a small cosmetic request and this is probably the wrong thread.

I agree with this. I don't think every foreign draftee should come from colleges in their home country because of the fact that quite a few people do study abroad (it's not unreasonable if a British league drafted an American who played at Loughborough, say) but some or most probably should either give a college in their home country (assuming there are any in the game for that country, by default they only exist for the US and Canada, and I've posted files for England and Scotland) or simply say "Out of Puerto Rico" or whatever.

Markus, is there a chance to have news items show the road jersey when the feat or whatever happened on the road? My 3B just had a 3 HR game but I know the news item will show him in my T-Birds home jersey vs the road jersey.

excited for the new features!

is there anyway you can make the DL more realistic? in '14, if a player was hurt for say 25 days you can stick him on the 15 day DL and leave him there for 25 days. You never had to make the choice of if you renew him for another 15 day stint or move him to the 60 day or move him back to active roster and have him sit 10 games.

In-game is realistic.

IRL you do not have to 'renew' a player for another 15 day stint or move him to the 60 day DL if he is out longer than 15 days. The 15 day DL is the minimum time a player must miss, there is no maximum. He doesn't have to come back until he is healthy (doesn't have to be put back on the active roster and sit for any period). IRL there are limits on putting a player of the 60-Day DL that are not modeled in-game but the 15 day DL is fine.

Apparently the original poster was used to MVP 2005's broken DL system.

After skimming the thread, I think this has been discussed w.r.t. independent leagues. But my initial reaction is that I will be running some tests as soon as the game is released on how much this helps out a promotion/relegation setup. This could be a really big deal for such a game universe if it functions well.
