I thought Tito was going to push Bauer back a day? Did he hurt Cleveland by pitching tonight?
Went bar hopping during the Cubs game on Sunday in Blackhawks gear. Was rather boring. Hope to do it again with about 10 ppl during the wS.

He did push him back to game 3, but there was talk that he could sit another day and go in game 4, but I think Tito knew the bullpen was fully rested and took the gamble. Honestly it would not have mattered, that cut on his finger would have opened up like it did last night....and if this were the regular season, he would be on the DL. They are thinking about throwing Kluber today in game 4 to try and wrap up the series and hope he can go 7+ innings and I have a feeling that if they need Shaw, Miller and/or Allen, they won't hesitate to go to them if the game is on the line.

Hoping Toronto can pull a 2004 Red Sox. While i am not against cheering for the Cubs or even the Dodgers in the WS. I hate The Iindians more then any other team.

Theyll have to get their hitting out of their ass if thats going to happen. From what ive been seeing not much chance of that happening.

A 2-1 lead is not a 3-1 lead. Are you going to be Westheim this year?

so which team was shaking in its boots?
congrats to Cleveland for getting into the World Series. not sure the fan base deserves it with the low attendance they had all season, but the players & management deserve it for sure. well done Last edited by Whoofe; 10-19-2016 at 08:06 PM. |

Cleveland deserves it. Now we need the Cubs in the Fall Classic.

IDK why they blamed Heyward for the throw. The blame goes to the catcher for the tag. If he goes in front of the plate instead of the man, his hand wouldn't have reached the plate.

Not sure this kind of fan base deserves it? LOOK: Indians fans stocked ALCS Game 5 hero Ryan Merritt's wedding registry - CBSSports.com

It's the typical Cleveland hate from people who don't live here (and I am not singling Whoofe out, I see it all over the internet from people that have never been here or have not been here in 10+ years). And honestly that's fine with me, as Lebron said "It's Cleveland against the World!". We know what we have here and I hear more and more from people who visit how much they love the city and would come back. Last edited by ohiodevil; 10-20-2016 at 11:49 AM. |

nah I wasn't ragging on everyone from Cleveland just cuz they were from Cleveland. sorry if it came off that way. but when they are getting 12k-15k home attendance even in august/September when they have been leading the central for quite some time, it seems to me to be pretty bandwaggony now for all those ppl to start showing up now that they are in the world series. kinda reminds me of the LA teams where the Hollywood stars show up to the games once the playoff start because they know they are gonna be on national tv. but where were they the rest of the season? just me being cynical I spose that's what I mean by fans not "deserving" it anyways. |

Can we please stop celebrating every victory with champagne? It's getting boring.
Although Cleveland celebrating an ALCS win should celebrate like that.

Yeah, there is certainly fair criticism for baseball attendance in Cleveland, particularly in the light that the post-move Browns have been a trainwreck and don't have that problem. I hope it will be cool to go to Indians games again, like it was in the 90s. Win or lose, hopefully this year will build enthusiasm for 2017.
