We drop the first game without Rolfe in the lineup due to his injury against Hubbell and the Giants. That means we're out of first place, unfortunately. Suppose we'll have to see what we can do until we start getting key players back from injury, and hope for the best, while also seeing about perhaps trying to find good players we can use later on, as well. 1934 MLB All-Star Game boxscore can be seen below. I messed up the bit with trying to put Medwick into the game, seeing as I was handling all the game's substitutions. I was intending for him to play left field, but I messed up there, when trying to put the next pitcher in a different spot in the batting order. Hence, he didn't actually do any playing in it, unfortunately. As far as the AL logo, evidently the one I put in the appropriate folder seems to have been too large. somehow. That is all. CD out.

As far as the Cardinals go, we will have no off-day between the All-Star Game and our next series. We have five games in Philadelphia, four in Brooklyn, four in Boston, four in New York, three in Pittsburgh, and three in Chicago before we finally are able to return home, it seems, on August 3rd, for a three-game series against the Pirates.

Most of August should allow us to be at home, though, for our games, but the schedule immediately ahead could be brutal, unless we're able to get some of our key players back soon or others step up or we are able to pry some other players from other teams through wheeling and dealing.

Here's the rest of our regular-season schedule stands as of now. Hopefully, we'll somehow manage to stay close enough to the leaders to still remain in serious contention, if not regain the lead, while our key players heal up and all. But we'll all have to wait and see what happens with them and us, you know, folks.

I will keep you all posted here, as I can, of course. That's all for now, then, I think. CD out.
