That was it, he had a NMC, my bad for missing that.

Turned out ok though, got an offer for him a few days later that I liked and moved him anyway.

Not yet; I've been trying to figure out a way to handle it, but adding an exception to the minimum age in a league is a little complicated (not so much in just ignoring the player violating the age rule, but in getting the AI to understand that it's allowed to use him.)

Sorry it was a little bit of a word salad.

I attached a screenshot. I can assign a "Role" but I can also adjust Tactical Tendencies.

Do "roles" actually matter, or is it the tactical tendencies that matter if I'm trying to manage how a player plays.

Ah, I think I see the problem, it's getting reset on the dates the NHL changes its draft format - I think we'll have to add a separate setting to prevent that. But in the meantime, you'll have to reset them manually whenever the format changes (which happens a lot in the 60's and 70's) - the exact years are: Every year from 1963-1970, every year from 1973-1980, 1992, and 2005.

Oh, yeah, the role is the bigger factor. The tendencies allow adjustments in specific areas to be made, but it's still within the context of the overall role - a Punishing Defenceman with Hitting turned down to Rare will still try to make hits at a greater rate than most players, just not as much as he normally would.

Awesome. My only complaint would be that I can't adjust roles for players that are not dressed, and that if I select a player to look at their ratings and hit "back" to the roles screen, it reverts to selecting the player at the top of the list.

Small potatoes.

Put a link on the right toolbar to finances. Maybe replace either Unsigned or Upcoming FAs since they're both under the Transactions tab.

Clicking on the score at the top right of the screen no longer takes me to the box score. It takes to a blank tab where I have to click again to get to the box score.

All the questions are related to a custom game where I created NHL+AHL+ECHL and 2 junior leagues

Is it possible to change the age where a prospect can be drafted (let say move from 18 to 20)?

I set the minimum age to play in the NHL to 20 but I still see 18 years old players staying at that level. Bug?

I cannot set the minimum age for the AHL and the ECHL. Does this mean they follow the NHL rule?

When I try to add a tournament, it only suggests me to create one at the NHL level. I would like to create a tournament at junior level but the leagues do not appear in the tournament creation tab.

Is there a quick way to see what pending trades I have out there? Not sure if there's an easy way to see this info, because I definitely forgot what picks I've already offered up!

Put them in a line up, Change thier role. Remove them from the line up. Next time they're put in the line up it should autoload that role.

There's no place that lists them, but you won't be able to offer anything that you've already offered in another trade.

The minimum age setting in the league info section is actually for the draft - that's why you're not seeing it for the minor leagues, which don't have one. The roster age limits can't be changed.

Tournament creation is only available at the top level right now. We'll likely expand that later.

It's only possible via the In-game Feedback system if he's done something (multiple hits on your players, has scored multiple times early in the game, etc.) that gives you a reason to target him.

It's there to hold players who are either with a team without an NHL affiliation, or are contracted directly to minor league teams instead of their NHL parent.

Word salad alert:

I have an issue where I'm trying to change player roles by using the Actions drop down on the player page. However I can't select any of the options - the list disappears if I try to hover my mouse over the options.

Could this be because they're off the actual game window?
