Apologies for being a total Luddite with this question but, how do I actually get the QS working? I've imported it into the directory data/quickstart_games (which I had to create) and when I boot up the game and select quickstart I am only met with the 4 choices previously shown in the default game (all time great, 1994, promotion/relegation and US baseball League)

It's not data/quickstart_games - if you use the Fastspring (non-Steam) version, it's My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 24\quickstart_games. Should already be there.

Also, thank you for letting me bump this with an update - OOTPD fixed the bug for generating fictional contracts, so the A Set Modern QS has been revised to include that! Same link as before.

I'm back with another bug report. Well, not really a bug, it's the game working as intended, even if that intended way is a bit weird. See, there's duplicates of a lot of personnel. And I mean a lot. It's ultimately not a huge deal and the best fix for it would require completely remaking the database from scratch since it's just some weirdness with how template imports work.

Well either that or manually deleting all those duplicates, but that'd take a while.

So I did it. 2445 deleted entries later, I have a copy of the quickstart without the duplicated personnel. Everything else is exactly the same, so if you need to make changes or update the main page or whatever, here it is. This is just for the A Set Modern. Edit: Had a little hiccup where you start with a message from the Orioles. I used them as the team I was acting as in order to clear the people. Check this link

I discovered the issue in my debut stream for the JPBO on Twitch today; I know what the issue is, and I'll be able to fix it in the league template and re-release that shortly.

I'll be able to use your QS and make two small changes I also caught (rotation size should be 6-man and the right to refuse demotion is to be disabled), and re-release it by end of weekend. Thanks for the hard work, SlayerMathis!

EDIT: Work is done, I hope this fixes it...
EDIT 2: Not quite, the other personnel are in the DB but without a league to work for, they don't show up. Lemme try and fix that in the template...

Does the league template come with stats? Or are you looking for the quickstart?

So I've noticed after playing for two seasons in the JPBO that having the Tokyo Golden Kites and the Tokyo Jaguars gets confusing. So I've given the Jags a slight rename to represent which ward in Tokyo they play. They're also easiest to change in that the away jersey doesn't have a city on it, so all I have to do is swap the T cap to an S. (and the Bunkyo Golden Kites just sounds dumb)

That's right, they're now the Shinjuku Jaguars! I'm going to keep the Tokyo set in the A Set for now, and just offer these two images as a patch for anyone else who finds it annoying. The rest can be renamed or kept in the UI when making the changeover.
