So, who would pay 450K for CC silver 3B, David Wright? A Mets fan? No, it was the team I faced in Game 7 in the final series of the Early daily silver today. Already raised to Level 5, this card played in 31 of his team's 33 games and slashed .380/.420/.775 including 11 HR's. Sadly for my opponent, David was unavailable for the pivotal game 7 except as a pinch hitter where he flied out in the 9th inning, 3 up, 3 down. The CC-less Mosquitos bite the 10-CC opponent in the a** for the win. (a** = arm).
Otherwise, both my teams lose the division series and repeat their respective grades next week. |

Congratulations to my Franks for winning Stone.147 today!
And a special thank you to the developers for adding the Frank Tanana and Frank Thomas 100 cards a few weeks ago. Without them it couldn't have happened. Like, literally. The rest of my Franks weren't getting out of Stone any time soon w/o the Big Hurt. |

I want to thank the devs for adding the college missions
Why else would someone have bid 300K for the DJ Lemahieu card I pulled for one of my FTP teams last night. That 270K PP, coupled with some more pulls of former collegians (30K for Roy Smalley, etc.) with all the intermediate packs enabled me to complete all the BBR missions. And the cherry on top was pulling Perfect Game Felix Hernandez with the perfect pack awarded for doing so.

It has been 27 long seasons. But tomorrow we reunite at long last. However brief, I will enjoy - surely to end in quick heartbreak.

Nearing the end. My original #1 team (hardly that anymore) is playoff-solid in Gold. Team #2 is, as usual, my test bed. They're dominant in Silver but get shellacked if promoted to Gold. Teams #3 and #4 have both returned to Diamond, where they're a little below the .500 mark but will probably stick.
The team I started in late November shot up to Diamond in the minimum time and is currently holding a solid lead there. I could get one more shot at PeL with these guys, although they're not the best team in the league. Final new team for the year, started last week, is 78-0 in Rookie League and has pulled 103 Cal Jr., Big Train, and Glavine. Building up PP to finish the PT Elite missions, although I might detour and get Mark Prior first. At low levels, he'll be as dominant as the PT Elites, and this team won't top out until about the time PT26 releases. I really, really recommend saving slots. As an FTP player, it's tough to compete all year with the Day One teams. Starting a few teams late in the cycle allows you to ignore the chaff and concentrate on acquiring the best, newest cards. It's also a time when a lot of mission streams become self-funding or nearly self-funding (based on quality of mission reward card pulls). BBRef is a cakewalk now that the best cards are going for a fraction of what they cost mid-season. |

I really love the perfect team drafts. You can win packs without already having good cards. What a novel concept!
That said, I am about to call BS on all the perfect and hitter first drafts. I mean, I get it it's fun. And I've gotten sucked in before. But FFS even with 13-14 pitchers it's absurd. I was looking at how they rocked Vida Blue for a 7.50 era and it was +161 WERA I've tried a lot of different things but I don't think there's actually any strategy to it at all beyond try to get as many 104s & 103s as possible, and sacrifice plenty of goats to the Random Number God At least Mixed Bag takes a bit of skill, ditto more normal drafts I mean, I get the allure, but you basically need to win the game before you take the field with an outlier draft to get anything to a lesser extent feel the same way about Best of 5. I think it's fine for metal tourneys where it defuses the power of the top teams, but in Perfect Team it just makes stuff even more random, and I'd prefer strategy being big to getting really lucky in the cards made available being disproportionately the highest ones |

I just had the best perfect draft team I have ever had. I won the daily near perfect lunch. My starting outfield was Mantle, Ruth, and Dimaggio. My DH was Cobb. I had 103 Dylan Crews. Mike Schmidt was my starting 3B, Piazza my starting catcher. Starter weren't really strong but the pen was great.
In 5 wins I scored 20+ runs and in 20 of 24 wins I scored 10+runs. I had a light day so watched most of the games. Most fun I have had in a while. |

I worked hard with twitch packs and buy orders and I unlocked Corbin Burnes from the missions, 103 pitcher.
STU 169 MOV 147 CON 166 He's 1-7 this year with almost 6 ERA in Gold. Great "upgrade" on Zack Wheeler who always betrayed me. Either I'd have to be richer or more skilled or both to get to Diamond at this point. |

Finally made Perfect League. Playing .400 ball and will end up relegated back to Diamond, but I got there.

I'm literally just here to shamelessly brag that I pulled this a day or two ago LOL
I've always been a 100% free-to-play PT player (aside from buying OOTP, obviously), so there's a kinda cool satisfaction knowing I'm one of like, maybe twenty people that can argue I have the literal best card in the game, Probably won't happen to me ever again LMAO Honestly would have initially entertained selling it, but boosting it to level 5 was INCREDIBLY easy since it only took a few of the MW2 Willie McCovey cards along with a couple old diamond combis I had gathering dust. God bless you And To All A Good Night's All-Perfect pack <3 ![]() Last edited by ThatComona; 02-07-2025 at 01:56 PM. Reason: :) |

I pulled 105 Pujols from a perfect pack for one of my FTP teams struggling in Silver
I decided to sell him to the 575K bidder, netting me a cool 517,500 PP's. When the dust settled, I had made the following major upgrades:
104 Honus for Adames at SS (Adames sold) 103 Mookie for LaJoie at 2B (LaJoie kept as a utility guy) 101 Simmons for Raleigh at C (Raleigh kept as a backup / defensive replacement) 102 Rogan gained via missions, mainly to get the perfect packs associated with the process. 103 Gaylord Perry pulled from one of those Perfect Packs 103 Tarik Skubal purchased to complete the Santa Clause mission (got nothing to write home about from the rainbow packs). |

Annihilated for the second time in Gold, a 17, a 7 and currently at 11 game losing streak.

Just made the LCS in gold, which if I am correct, means I'll be promoted to diamond for my first time ever without spending a dime other than the initial cost.

I now took the last of my 3 FTP-teams to Diamond League
![]() One of my teams survived three seasons there before being relegated after last season with a not so shabby 76-86 record. Oh, btw, I was finally able to complete the "And to all a good night"-mission. I didn't open the All-Perfect pack immediately, and when I logged in the next time it was already opened - I found my cards in my Inactive List ![]() And except the 103 Dinelson Lamet there were 5 Live Perfects ![]()

The roster: Ca- Pudge/Piazza 1B- Brett/Kent 2B- Zobrist SS- Honus 3B- Arenado UT- Ripken LF- Acuna CF- Mantle RF- Aaron UT- Carroll, Tip O'Neill DH- Alvarez SP- Cy Young SP- Sabathia SP- Walter Johnson SP- Kershaw SP- Gaylord Perry RP- Carlton RP- Gibson RP- Glavine RP- Valenzuela RP- Mathewson RP- Sutter RP- Helsley Worst players on the roster are probably Kent and Helsley. Team is stacked for a late run, and still 110,000 in the bank. Thinking of re-acquiring Ty Cobb or Corbin Burnes, as I sold them off to complete To All a Good Night. |
