Adion, is there a reason why Cleveland Stadium 1993 has black lines and bases?

I've had some success in eliminating some unwanted textures by deceiving the software a bit. When I want a background gone for example, I open the png texture and do a select-all and cut. Then I save the empty file and presto! Transparent background. By doing this, I'd think if a dummy logo was put down on field, end-users could follow along and sub in their own texture of the same size with no penalty...
...but I'm FAR from a Sketchup/Blender guru. Take this suggestion with a grain of salt...a big grain.

Does anyone have the park that the Orix BlueWave used in Kobe prior to their merger with the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes, and that the Orix Buffaloes sometimes play in now? If not, can someone please make it? I really don't want to have to use the Kyocera Osaka Dome for the Orix Blue Wave in any of my leagues/dynasties where they're present. Thanks in advance, if so. CD out.

Also Korakuen Stadium where the Yomiuri Giants and other Japanese teams used to play certainly would be nice, but I don't know if anyone could do it well enough just yet. I'll still look for pictures to assist anyone who might be able to do so well enough, however. CD out.

hey, silvam & adion, I was wondering something. I've been searching for awhile for a fun stadium to use at altitude. Essentially a coors-ish field with a big outfield and some nice mountains in the back. Love your guys work, and thought maybe I could build on it, but sadly when I tried to take one of your parks and adapt it I quickly found myself in way over my head.
any chance you could take an existing park with a big outfield and slap some pretty mountains in the background? thx <3 |

Hey silvam14,
I never gave up in trying to learn this and I was finally able to edit the skp file, and even export it to have it work in game. Got all the grid setup and made some changes to the 1983 file. I might try and put the curtains in at some point but probably not lol. In any case, for some odd reason now, I have almost no control over how far I can rotate. It only goes so far past the 1st and 3rd baselines. I can not turn and see the backstop anymore. I figured out how to draw the lines, put them just a tad out away from the walls, and change and add some details that I wanted. Then even got them to export and setup the CD crowds by following your video... but no idea what's up with the rotation. Any ideas? |

2 minor things I noticed about Chase Field. They switched to turf back in 2019 and there is a dirt path from the mound to home plate now. Otherwise, I love the ironwork detail...amazing.

But... Go Braves LOL I still cringe when that replay of Lonnie Smith getting fooled into holding up is shown... downright painful |

There were a lot of painful calls in the 91 WS, A LOT! Game 7 will always be one of the best ever world series games ever to be watched! I was 15 at the time but one of the best ever pitcher battles in history. |

Hey. Great work. It really just takes time and practice. As far as the rotation goes. I assume this is in the in game park setup screen. Have you tried using the navigation buttons on right side to move and rotate? You can fine tune the movements by editing the value on each move and rotate. I sometimes use .1 or .01 to get really small movements. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I loaded the models for historic 90s ball parks into OOTP 21 for my historic league. She's i lost the pitching view now. Is there no pitching view when using these historic 3D parks? Is it only in the 2021 parks that work with pitch view?

Not all parks have pitching view setup. Just rotate your screen behind the mound to what you like to see, click on Save Cam, click on Create New, name it what you want, and boom! You have behind the mound view. Not all ball parks have the same cameras setup as they are setup by whoever created the files you download.

New to OOTP21
Hi guys! I am new to OOTP21 and have been going crazy downloading and setting up Historical Ballpark....Love the work you do. Have the fun is enjoying all the details in each ball park. Currently replaying 1981 & 1994 Expos along with the 2015 & 2020 Jays.....maybe one of them will give me a Championship.....Having issues importing older ballparks into OOTP21 but some thread have given me some pointers....one I haven't tried is renaming *.prk file to *.pod..... Thoughts?

Hi and welcome. I would advise against renaming prk files to pod files. Pod files are the 3D format that the OOTP developers use to create their parks and have nothing to do with prk files, which are basically park configuration files that hold data such as park factors, 2D coordinates and things like that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To do this go under your teams home screen, click on settings, Once under settings on the right hand side there is "Edit Ballpark" Click on that. Once in there click on 3d model Once in there set degrees to 1 and use the Z to spin the stadium around. Once you are looking at the back stop use your mouse with left click to bring the angle down. Now go down to MOVE VIEW which is the second set of X, Y, Z. Set the CM: from 10 to 1 and use Z again to back your camera up, then use Y to move your camera up and down. You can also use "Edit Cameras FOV (Fiend of View) to zoom in and give you a different prespective. Once you have it about where you want it, play around and adjust. If you want more fine tuning change your degrees and CM to 0.1 and it will give you fine adjustments. Once you got it where you want it, then click on "SAVE CAM" a window will popup that will ask Create New, Update Current, or Cancel. Click on New and name it Behind Mound. Boom, all done. Once it is done on that park, it will always be done. |

The .prk file is NOT a 3d model. It is a file saved by OOTP when you click on "Actions" and "Export this park's data to a file" is used. |
