Personally, I've never understood this hating of a sports team. Certain individuals, certainly. The steroid cheats in particular. But I grew up loving the Yankees, the Kansas City As, the Cardinals, the Tigers & the Braves. The Yankees just happened to be my favorite. But that doesn't mean I didn't follow and root for Stan Musial, Ken Boyer, Rocky Colavito, Norm Cash, Al Kaline, Eddie Mathews, Joe Adcock, Hank Aaron, Gus Zernial, Bob Cerv, Norm Siebern, Jerry Lumpe and on and on. Just not when they were playing the Yanks.

There was a great deal of tongue-in-cheek humor intended in my original post that "all of these Yankees photos are giving me the shakes".
Of course an over-sensitive Yankees fan couldn't let the remark pass and in his mind, twisted it into an attack on his beloved Yankees.
