Jesse Heslip
Jesse Heslip was the president of the Toledo Cubs in 1945. He is shown here in a military uniform. I posted this photo previously, but it was in an annoying pink-purple color, which was the original form in which I found the photo. I think this version is more acceptable.

Reginald Howard
Reginald "Reggie" Howard was an infielder for the Indianapolis Clowns during the 1950's. He is shown here as an older man in street clothes. In the photo on the right, he was participating on a discussion panel on Negro League baseball and apparently was lost in his thoughts when the camera clicked.

DeHart Hubbard
William DeHart Hubbard was the secretary of the Cincinnati Tigers from 1934 to 1937 and the Cincinnati Buckeyes in 1942. The photo on the left is a portrait of him from 1924, around the time he won an Olympic gold medal in the long jump. The photo on the right shows him in his University of Michigan track uniform in 1924.

Cal Irvin
Calvin "Cal" Irvin was an infielder for the Newark Eagles in 1946. He is pictured here as the coach of the North Carolina A&T basketball team, where his successful seasons landed him in the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. Cal is the brother of another Hall-of-Famer - Monte Irvin.

Wilbur "Ashes" Jackson
Wilbur "Ashes" Jackson, 3B, is shown in the uniform of the Kansas City (KS) Giants. I'm using the name listed by Seamheads.com. Both the Negro Baseball Register, by Dick Clark and Larry Lester, and the BIOGRAPHICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE NEGRO LEAGUES, by James Riley, call this player William "Ashes" Jackson.

Curtis Johnson
Curtis Johnson was a pitcher with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1950. Ironically, he is swinging a bat in both the photos below. I've not been able to identify the uniforms in either photo. Obviously, the one on the right shows him as an older man.
