Whalers Roster shuffle
I am expecting to go to Silver this week, but as I did last year I want a limited amount of common Special Edition cards on my team. I will be selling off all but 2 (Cy Young and Enos Slaughter) I expect to take a slide back for a week or if I am lucky stay planted in Silver while I rebuild. I will take what I get from the 11SE cards I have plus the 106K I have in the bank to rebuild. Just an FYI to let you all know I am not tanking

3 close games, but 3 losses for Paxville. They'll be promoted off the back of their regular season record, so I won't have to worry about crashing out of next week's playoffs
.Good luck everyone else!

IRON playoff update...
- New York sweeps Route 66, but the Hot Rods will go up as one of the two best records among divisional round losers. - Left Coast were taken out in 4 by the top-seeded Carolina Smokies, but they too will go up as the second team with the best record among divisional round losers. - Inland Empire were swept and will have to stay in Iron, missing out on promotion by one game at 93-69. - As of this posting, New York leads their best of 7 LCS 1-0, and are the last hope for OL hardware in this tier. |

PT Playoffs
Here's who's left:
In rookie, Iron Maiden. In stone, Las Vegas. In iron, New York. In bronze, Shinbone,AC and Baltimore, NC. In silver, Waffletown just eliminated Algoma. Those are the remaining possibilities, with one all-OL series still in play. Will check back in a couple of hours to complete the hardware presentations. Go luck to those remaining. |

Baltimore has made it an all OL Bronze world series with a game seven win. They will take on Shinbone.
Just updated both my friends lists. As an FYI the next two weeks I will only be able to do stats on weekends due to my schedule. If anyone needs a break and wants me to step in to finish a week off, just let me know. |

The Patriots end up being the first loser. Always the first loser, never the only winner.
Onto bronze. Wake me up in a few seasons when we're relevant again. Last edited by Magus978; 06-06-2021 at 07:13 PM. |

All 5 OL teams make it to the same diamond league. Paired with the BFF once again. And a couple of the whales from last week are here once again (Wayzata, Blaine). It's gonna be a tough week!

Set up for 2031
The only team we missed that was known to be in OL is Lumberton, which ended up in B215. Jackson still appears and still has not been heard from. In R85, the Gotham Robber Barons have shown up with an - OL, as have the Montreal Draft Dodgers in ST123. Anyone know anything about these two? If they are compliant, they are certainly welcome to join us.
The S257 is attached. Boston, off by itself has just 14 games schedule - home and away series against Asheboro and Gem City. In both cases, they are four and three series, with the four gamers being road contests. Red Sox fans will know the anxiety of the short schedule, where each game seems to count double. Seems Coney Island is the only team in Silver that doesn't own Mark Langston. |
