Here's the 1973-74 Willie Montanez and 1974 Larry Cox that I had asked to be colorized. Krantzbucks taught me a little and with a little trial & error...this is the results. I hope you guys think that they're OK. I don't want tons of requests until I finish mine, so then after that, I'll have more practice in. I have lots to learn, but I'm sure my "teacher" will answer my questions. I also need to know the unis like from 1969 on.

Facepack upgrade

The colorizations look pretty good to me, excellent for a novice, I think I would give Montanez a higher score.

Tha Hall of Fame uniform database is the best source I have come across for uniforms

No. It was part of a Sport Magazine article on Jackie Robinson. I was assuming it was Willie Jones, but I've proven to be pretty bad at matching faces to names.

In the early Fifties, the Topps baseball sets were incomplete because of licensing competition with Bowman, key stars in the military and key players not signing up to do cards. Topps has issued reprint sets and has tried to fill in some of the gaps, but their efforts have been poor - certainly not up to my standards. I've already posted a few cards (Yankees and Red Sox) that I made to try to make the sets more complete. I'll post a bunch more here and at the end list players/teams that I don't have suitable photos yet to finish the upgrades of the sets (in my mind).
