Was getting a little worried there for a bit but it looks like the kid is really taking off now. 40 homers and an MVP just like his father. Of course dad never put up a 10 WAR season........


So close to the Subway series and getting to see the Powers/Keeran story take it's next step forward. We'll see what happens next year!

Is Long the manager in TB? I know he was the hitting coach for a while.

Still the hitting coach, has a 3yr 230k deal and his "scouting" report says, "While not currently working as a manager, if given the chance, he could end up as a great manager someday". His reputation lists him as average right now. Last 3 seasons in the MLB, his teams have gone 76-86, 76-86, and 80-82 with averages of .254, .236, and .253 respectively.
