Frank Leland
Frank Leland was known both as a player and a team founder and manager. As a player, he was an outfielder with a team called the Unions in 1887 and the Chicago Unions in 1888 and 1889. He formed the Chicago Union Giants in 1901 and the Leland Giants in 1905. He formed Leland's Chicago Giants in 1910.
