Abe Manley
Abraham "Abe" Manley was owner of the Brooklyn Eagles in 1935 and the Newark Eagles from 1936 to 1946. He was also vice president and treasurer of the Negro National League. Abe was the husband of HOFer Effa Manley.

Effa Manley
Effa Manley was co-owner of the Brooklyn Eagles in 1935, the Newark Eagles from 1936 to 1946, and the sole owner of the Newark Eagles in 1947 and 1948. She was also the secretary of the Negro National League. She was the first woman elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
