Didn't even think about the fact that they were playing Cleveland again in the afternoon until I watched the Knicks win. It stung a little less than the 9th and 10th inning debacle that I subjected myself to the day before.

I don't see a miracle comeback this year. I was able to go to the game live with some friends yesterday. The team does not have a lot of energy. Hope I am wrong but this could be a long summer.

Everyone is saying there's no chance to resign Skubal... if so I think we should trade him and get everything we can get... but is the pending CBA/Strike going to screw us or benefit as far as Skubal's trade value?

There will be no MLB next year. Possibly the year after that. Possibly the entity of MLB ceases to exist, and re-constitutes as the Federal League, or something equivalent. Their business model just isn't sustainable, on EITHER side.
