Yep could take a bit of time. But it will get done

Thanks to both of you. I didn't mind doing some work to get the ballparks to automatically work in game, but I just couldn't figure out what to do.

Is my best bet for now just to manually load the 3d models for each team?

Yes I would say so.

Amazing stadiums Silvam, thanks.
One thing, it could be I still have the wrong version, but it seems the pitcher is disappearing halfway into the mound while going into his motion in some stadiums. Comiskey 1969 and Three Rivers Stadium for instance. In other stadiums it works fine.

I followed your advice (Silvam) in a prior post and grabbed the historical parks from OOTP 21 on Steam.

1) I uninstalled OOTP 21 and 22, deleted and data files left behind. Reinstalled 21 and downloaded the historical park mod from Steam workshop.
2) Clicked to install the mod.
3) Reinstalled OOTP 22.
4) Copied the entire data / ballparks folder from 21 to 22, skipping any duplicate files.

I was then able to create a 1978 historical league in 22 and the historical ballpark models were all automatically assigned. One thing I did notice was that after installing the mod in 21, it placed .prk, .jpg and .png files in the root ballpark folder. These weren't there when I downloaded the ballparks from your site. Of course the folder names didn't have the _v1_4 suffixes on them either.

In any case it worked so I'm happy. :-)

It could be that the mound is too high for the player model. I see it also happening in Royals stadium. Pitcher's feet and ankles are disappearing.

Probably downloaded Garlon’s mod which he created over a year ago. That will work but has outdated versions of my models. But you might not care right now. Anyhow. I’m working with Garlon to update that mod to the latest versions.

There should be no raised mounds in any of my parks.

Garlon, where can non-Steam users get your ballpark mod?

Edit: I'm confused. Garlon said in an earlier post that the ballpark era file that comes with 22 will use silvam's files with no naming tweaks needed, but pstrickert is saying otherwise. Who's right here?

Edit 2: I'm getting corrupted archives when I download. Can you use Google Drive? Or an FTP server?

All,

Starting the 1949 Season within new OOTP 22. I have found Ebbets Field 3D view has a stadium roof in the foreground. How do I get rid of this? Thanks.

you can tweak the camera in the park editor. I looked at the angles in the editor and I don't see it. maybe during the game it is different

I'm still getting corrupted archive messages when I try to extract the archive. Please upload to an alternate site, such as Google Drive or set up an ftp server so I can direct download from your machine.

Edit: Never mind, I just downloaded them all individually. I do have a question, though. It looks like in 22, there's no option to modify ballparks, it seems to be done automatically now? Is that the caes, or am I missing something somewhere?

Silvam or Adion, do you feel like doing some modifications to OOTP 22 version of Chase Field? I want the Diamondback logos replaced with one of my teams.

Don’t think it’s possible

Some aspects of the OOTP 22 stadiums can be modified. I did a test of PNC Park. I Replaced a few advertisements. You can edit the Stand_day.webp and Stand_night.webp files. The night is identical to to day except for some darker shading. I replaced a texture on the scoreboard and an advert on the OF wall. For some stadiums you may be able to replace team logos. I was not able to open the two alphablend files. I'm waiting for the season to start for some up to date photos to use as a reference.

Oracle Park 2020 in OOTP 22 shaded area on front of mound

I am getting a shaded area on the front section of my pitcher's mound in 3D
mode when using the new Oracle Park 2020 Stadium mod in OOTP BB 22 day or night. Does anyone know why or have this same problem? When I view the photos in the file on my hard drive the mounds look fine. I never had this problem in OOTP BB21.

micropterus58, how did you go about changing the advertisements? Is there a program you have to use?

That’s by design. Sometimes the dirt is darker because they soak it before the game ( I believe)
