You're right! That old "picture" was pretty awful...and Conwell just missed being in the last release of the Facepack. He was the first photo posted after the most recent Facepack release announcement. It's been more than three months, so it's definitely time for a new release. I'll try to wrap up a few more upgrades (nearly 350 updated photos right now) and upload a post-2012 Facepack release before Thanksgiving.

He's next up for election in Dec. 2014 for the HOF Class of 2015. He's A 2-time Negro Leagues All-Star as a 3rd Baseman and a 7-time MLB All-Star as a leftfielder, where he won 3 Gold Gloves.

An Ashburn portrait in his early years with the Phillies.
PLUS: RICHIE ASHBURN, in his prime (age 24) makes an outstanding catch to save a home run in the 1951 All-Star game off the bat of the Tigers' Vic Wertz. The game was played on July 10, 1951 at Briggs Stadium, Detroit. Ashburn's better late than never induction into the Baseball Hall Of Fame at age 68 in 1995 was the source of much joy for many Phillies fans.
