Hal Breeden pre-rookie
Hal Breeden officially broke into the majors in 1971 for the Chicago Cubs, beginning a five-year career that was spent mostly in Montreal with the Expos.
But Breeden was signed as a free agent by the Milwaukee Braves back in 1963 and spent many of the next seven seasons as the feared minor league sluggler the Braves never quite got around to calling up. Not even in 1970, when he hit 37 homers with 116 RBIs for Richmond, would the first baseman get the call to help the Braves unsuccessfully defend their NL title. But Breeden's days as a Braves prospect ended on a distinctive note: he was traded even-up for Future Hall of Famer Hoyt Wilhelm -- something few minor leaguers could ever claim. He was a camp regular but never the guy. This colorized shot (courtesy of Zappa) is from 1967. |

Brady Aalbers
Brady Aalbers played in the Reds System in 1998. Aalbers only played the one year. I took Aalbers head and placed on Dave Burba Body and Jeff Shaw Body. just playing around to see how it come out and this is what I got. W/ 1999 Topps Style Card.

Random Mets - Billy Connors (Randomly colorized and custom carded)
I know of two color images of Billy Connors with the Mets--a Vault and a Brace--and I don't like either one of them. So I colorized this B&W, which looks like a standard Mets publicity shot. I didn't bother with the sleeve patch because those are a pain in the butt and I knew it wouldn't likely survive a crop anyway.
