This really is a team effort. These players have been found by SABR researchers over the years and for the most part have only recently been digitized.

The Cuban star is pictured with Saltillo (where he played in 1945-46) in the Pitchers' Pack, but here's a shot of him during his brief (2 appearances) career in Senators garb. (Sadly, though, he's no longer sporting the awesome mustache from the Saltillo days.)

Unfortunately, the body is blurry, so I had to really sharpen the full- and half-length edits, thus harming the quality of the face, but I de-sharpened a bit for the "mug shot", so I think that comes out okay. (As always, I include the original image, in case someone wants to take their own whack at it.)

Originally mis-identified as Jim Mason. Taken at spring training in 1969 or 1970, it's at least a better image than the "Rookie Stars" card transfer in the Batters Pack, but I admit I'm disappointed:

Well, as I noted in my edited correction above, it's still a better picture of Martin than the "1970 Rookie Stars" Topps card the Batters Pack uses, so I can still feel I've contributed something (albeit, research shows, the same "something" you contributed back in February), but that's disappointing.

What a coincidence that the Senators had two alphabetically-similar LHBs in possibly-consecutive training camps with reasonably-similar features (although Mason's eyebrows are bushier) and put the same #14 jersey on them, even though Martin would wear #6 at Denver in 1970. (Granted, with Mike Epstein in camp, Martin wasn't getting ahold of a Senators' #6 jersey any time soon, but still, that's a heck of a coincidence.)

Apologies and thanks for the correction.

(BTW, Martin wore #22 during his 1968 cup of coffee, but Jan Dukes had snuck in and grabbed it during 1969, which is why Martin wasn't wearing that number any more. [If this is 1970 rather than 1969, I mean.])

The photo posted above does not show Rogelio Martinez, it is actually Sandy Consuegra. I have included a photo of Martinez with Marianao (shortly before his brief stint with the Senators) alongside a pretty rough, over-exposed photo of him with the Senators. Next is a cleaned-up version of the photo above and finally a photo of Consuegra with the White Sox. They "Mystery Senator" is clearly Consuegra.
