I wonder how Culpepper will do this season without Moss.

We'll be glad we let go of Culpepper.

I didn't say he had Moss last year.

It's just our first good chance to really see him for a long time without Randy.

He is mediocre without Randy. Which is why I think Brooks and Moss are going to be a good combo.

Aaron Brooks sucks. I don't think Moss can even make him look good.

Um, they were playing on the road against the defending Super Bowl champs, and a team known to always play pretty good D. Yeah, he struggled, but I wouldn't want to make the claim this is how he'll be all season long.

He looked good when they had a balanced offensive attack. Once they could just pass rush and key on the pass, things fell apart.

(Actually, that's true...but a backup center when the Vikings have Birk is kinda silly).

Brooks is a far worse QB that C-Pep though. C-Pep will prove to be at least average without Moss. Brooks was terrible without Moss, even though he had a lot of offensive weapons in New Orleans (Horn, McAllister and a solid line). Aaron Brooks is a poor man's Jake Plummer...like a homeless man's Jake Plummer.

Brooks is absolutely terrible. I don't know what Oakland was thinking. Brooks couldn't do anything with Deuce McAllister, Joe Horn, Donte Stallworth and a good line in New Orleans. He's not a good running QB. He's not a good passing QB. Both of those are probably understatements. What would lead anyone to believe that he's a good quarterback to have heading into a season?

He's got Randy Moss, apparently that should add 20 points to his rating according to the OP. (j/k)

I don't know if you can blame week 1 all on Brooks. As Rizon said, "Robert Gallery did a perfect impression of a traffic cone"
