Says it worked, but it doesn't, and I'm running OOTP16 not OOTP13.
Seen this as well. I think if you select the Facebook option is shows 15, so it all needs dressed up a bit, IMO.

SHOW BENCH, and some other things

How about this?

Have an option to show *just* bench or bullpen (or all available batters/all available pitchers) in the substitution screen. It would be a lot easier to see, rather than having to sort through a bunch of red and black names.

And have it be the the default list when you are in game.

This is a minor suggested change...I noticed that the individual player accomplishments show the Pitcher of the Year Award abbreviated as CY. I understand this is for Cy Young, but the abbreviation should match the name we give to the award, or perhaps we set the abbreviation ourselves.

Playing Out Game Windows Need to Move

When playing out a game, it would be nice if the windows that pop up asking a question could be moved. The reason is that sometimes during a game you are asked "would you like the runner from second to round third and attempt to score. Player X has an above average arm."

What happens is that sometimes the window is covering your player on base or the fielder. It's helpful to know your base-runner's running ability to decide if you should tell the runner to go or not. But if the window is covering the runner, you can't tell.

Thanks.

Who's warming up in the bullpen?

When playing out a game with one or both teams controlled by AI, it would be good to display somewhere who is warming up in the bullpen.

The AI does not warm up pitchers.

That might be a good feature suggestion, though!

It would be, a good way to plot if you have a guy on the bench that eats up a lefty or is really good versus a relief pitcher. See Todd Worrell vs Howard Johnson

One thing I would love in regards to pitching changes is if there was some form of graphic (other than play by play) that displayed when a pitching change takes place. I watch fast with short play by play/instant. After years of playing I basically read nothing more than the play result. Sometimes, I completely miss when pitching changes occur. Maybe let the pitching mound flash red or something to draw ones attention to the change.

I'd love to have shortlisted players in caps in all screens, not just roster screens.

I now see what my issue is. I wish the pitching change was announced separately from the next play outcome.

A popup box on the field, like you get to send or hold runners, would work well to announce a new pitcher as entered the game.

That's exactly what the Tigers have to say about Justin Verlander in real life Or the Mets and Gooden back in the day. I could go on and on.

Lots of stud pitchers drop off far earlier than you'd expect as a fan.

OOTP models this sort of thing very accurately.

Would love to see a display for team championships. Right now, you still can only find them in the almanac and division titles don't get displayed at all without having to count manually. It's super tedious and would be nice -- especially in long-running leagues -- to have a way to quickly view long-term team success.

Dola:

The only way to see a team's playoff/championship drought is to 1) count manually or 2) wait until they make the playoffs. There should be a spot somewhere on the MILLIONS of menus this game has to let us see that information.

Fans of 29 teams would appreciate that information. Not so sure about the Cubs.

Had to create an account to post this - can we have the view pending offers tab as a "manager & gm actions" shortcut? It's frustrating to have to go to Transactions/Free Agents/Pending Offers.
