Plus teams often keep such prospects in AA versus AAA as its often considered a better developmental environment due to AAA generally being full of veterans trying to finally make it to or back to the big leagues for a few weeks

AJ Burnett missing 2015 stats?
I hope I'm posting this to the right forum. I just noticed that AJ Burnett is listed as retired and doesn't have his 2015 stats.

It is Historical, but I asked it to include 2015 stats. The 2015 stats appear for all the other players. But Burnett doesn't have them and lists him as retired.

Right off the bat huge problems!!!!
First of all I just want to say that I have bought every version of the game
over approx 10 years and have been extremely happy. This game is by far and away the best baseball sim in my opinion. I am however mad as hell at this completely buggy version that was released. How the hell beta testers or play testers let some of these serious problems go by is beyond me. If it's not broke then don't fix it...or in this case if it's not broke then don't BREAK IT! So I take the NY Mets and start a new season. All my players are where I want to have them in the Majors/Minors/International Complex/etc.... I then go to the team control settings (I have done this with every ootp version as long as I can remember) and take my bench coach, Assistant gms, etc...off of controlling My roster moves, pitching staff, lineups, basically everything and set it to myself. NOW HERES THE PROBLEM I go to start game one and my whole entire organization is out of whack! I mean the whole entire team is screwed! Nobody was injured either. Examples: Granderson is in 3A, My best closer Familia is in the international dominican rookie league (maybe cause he's dominican?), Syndergaard is in 2a, d"Arnaud is in A, the list goes on and on and on!!!!!!! So I figure let me set the AI to my coaches again to fix the situation rapidly but that did not work either. My question is....do these beta testers do ANYTHING? Anything at all besides getting to play for free for a while. I would never hire another one of them again. I'm sure this will be fixed but it is unacceptable. I still love the game and will just continue to play 2016 until 2017 is fixed. I seriously hope that this version has not deterred any new players away from this otherwise excellent franchise. |

I find it truly hard to believe in playing OOTP for 10 years, never once has there been a single issue you've had with any aspect of the game. All of a sudden you get this error and it compels you to post that the beta testers do NOTHING!!!! BTW, they didn't "hire" any testers, they're all volunteers. Coming on here with 2 career posts and especially being a jerk will not compel others to want to help you with your issue. There's grown up ways to handle things, which apparently you've yet to learn. I find it also a tad odd that in your first ever post, you praise the OOTP team and the forum members (remember, forum members make up the beta testers), then a week later you're complaining we do nothing. Which is it? |

Wait...KennyV17 totally buried the lead. There is a Hercules Burnett in the game. What an awesome name. I'm importing him into my game somewhere. Would be even funnier if was like Duane Kuiper (with 1 career wallscraper HR).

Yes, many. There seems to be a few on each team. For example, Marcus Stroman, Garrett Richards, and Jose Fernandez. Like I said earlier, if a player missed time due to injury in 2014 or 2015, the service time is likely to be off by at least a bit.
I could come up with a list of all of them but that would be quite long. I would gladly go through and list as many as I can if it means they will get fixed.

Couple of Cardinal Notes
-RHP Tyler Lyons still has all 3 option years in the game when he is out of options in real life
-RHPSeth Maness changed his jersey number to #43 -RHPMike Leake is #8 -RHP Seung-hwan Oh is #26 -C Brayan Pena is #33 -1B Brandon Moss changed his number to #37 -INF Jedd Gyorko is #3 and his current #9 should be retired -SS Ruben Tejada is #19 -MIF Dean Anna is rated way too high as a 2.5 Star/3 Star potential as a 29 year old career minor leaguer. Particularly his INF and OF range, gap power, and sac bunt ratings -And I don't know what determines Injury history but I'd be hard pressed to call Jaime Garcia's injury history "normal" and Tommy Pham as "Iron Man" considering their numerous dl stints |

Erick Aybar is overrated. ZiPs projects him at .684 OPS, OOTP has him at .740

Guillermo Heredia, OF, for the Seattle Mariners is now listed as retired. They signed him out of Cuba 3/1/16. Weird thing is, I believe he was in AA for them in the Beta release of the game?

Seems to be a theme with Cubans. First the Gurriels, now Heredia?

(Not sure if this is the proper place to post, sorry)
Every time I sim, Pedro begins 2015 and ends 2015 as the DH vs LHP and RHP. Is there anything I can do to help make the AI respect the splits a bit more? |

It seems that mostly all pitchers stuff ratings are underrated. Am I mistaken? Was this done intentionally? Or is this a glitch or error? The game projects Matt Harvey to strikeout 209 batters in 236 innings, I think he is a bit better than that. Chris Sale to strikeout 273 in 241 innings, I think he should be more around 300 in that many innings. Also Aroldis Chapman 124 k's in 84 innings, I think he would more be around 145 k's. I could be wrong.

Red Sox minor leaguer played in MLB as a 10-year old!
Junior Figueroa (Red Sox org), 16 yeas old, has MLB stats from 2010 to 2013 in his pitching record. Has to be a mix-up with another Figueroa.
