But... but... that is a BAD play in that situation! What was he doing that for?

Sorry, but I have to correct you
![]() Hickman drove in all 6 runs with a pair of solo shots and a pair of 2run homers - but nonetheless, hitting 4 HR's and driving all his team's runs is quite an accomplishment and very rare.

Your team is leading 3:1 in the bottom of the 7th, runners on 1st an 2nd, nobody out ... ... I would say the baseball book would call for a sacrifice bunt here to put the runners in scoring position, thus eliminating the risk of a double play and giving the team the chance to score an insurance run with an out.

This one is kind of insane. From my fictional dynasty of growing a FIFA like universe for baseball where the AI controls all team management, in Year 8 of the world, the New York team is putting up a legendary season unlike I've ever seen in OOTP:
![]() No idea how they will finish, but I can assure you their team is beyond stacked, AND they lost the reigning 4-time MVP catcher (on LA now). I'm not even sure if I should root for or against them at this point!

I decided to give one of my players a slight boost before I start a new game.

In one single season, I single handedly tripled my score. So this is what success feels like...can't wait to get that big raise from the owner.
