Two on, nobody out, what would you do ? Swing away, trying to keep the streak alive ? Or be a class guy, giving it all for a team win ?

But... but... that is a BAD play in that situation! What was he doing that for?

Sorry, but I have to correct you

Hickman drove in all 6 runs with a pair of solo shots and a pair of 2run homers - but nonetheless, hitting 4 HR's and driving all his team's runs is quite an accomplishment and very rare.

I wouldn't consider this a bad play.

Your team is leading 3:1 in the bottom of the 7th, runners on 1st an 2nd, nobody out ...

... I would say the baseball book would call for a sacrifice bunt here to put the runners in scoring position, thus eliminating the risk of a double play and giving the team the chance to score an insurance run with an out.

This one is kind of insane. From my fictional dynasty of growing a FIFA like universe for baseball where the AI controls all team management, in Year 8 of the world, the New York team is putting up a legendary season unlike I've ever seen in OOTP:

No idea how they will finish, but I can assure you their team is beyond stacked, AND they lost the reigning 4-time MVP catcher (on LA now).

I'm not even sure if I should root for or against them at this point!

While this is an incredible start, the 1984 Detroit Tigers started 35-5 ... but yes, this is rare ...

... and must be pretty frustrating when you start 21-13 and trail by 10.5 games

In one single season, I single handedly tripled my score. So this is what success feels like...can't wait to get that big raise from the owner.
