It's the typical Cleveland hate from people who don't live here (and I am not singling Whoofe out, I see it all over the internet from people that have never been here or have not been here in 10+ years). And honestly that's fine with me, as Lebron said "It's Cleveland against the World!".

We know what we have here and I hear more and more from people who visit how much they love the city and would come back.
Ah Cleveland the one place on earth that knows how it feels to be Detroit Grew up in Saginaw, lived in the south since 85, but will still find myself getting angry when I hear Detroit getting slammed. Managed to get home last summer(15) and other than Tiger Stadium being nothing more than a fence and a flag pole, I love Detroit.

Waaaay too premature. Start worrying when your team is 2 games out of a series.

C'mon now, Cubbies. It's time to wrap things up at Chavez Ravine and finish off these Dodgers at home.

Kind of wanting the Cubs to lose Game 6. i wont get a chance to go downtown Saturday but i can on Sunday. Will be great night getting blasted if the Cubs win a Game 7. Taking off of work for Game 3 next Friday to see the Cubs. Can i borrow $3000 from someone, so I can buy tickets for standing room for Game 3? It will take me a few months to pay ya back though.

Well, poop. There goes one of my favorite statistics:

Since the last time the Cubs even played for a championship (1945) every then-existing and still-existing professional franchise in all four major sports (including the BAA and the NBL, the forerunners of the NBA) has not only played for a title, they've all won at least one. The Sacramento Kings may have moved three separate times (and nearly a fourth), but they've still got that 1951 Rochester Royals banner in the rafters. The Detroit Lions may be the only team that missed playing in all 50 Super Bowls, but they won an NFL title in 1957. And all of the other NL teams from 1945 have won at least two World Series.

And the Schlubs never even got in the ring, much less won one. That's gone now. Oh, well. I mean, the Indians can still keep the humiliating "no championships for 108 years" (longest in pro sports, ever) streak going, but it's not the same.

And to think, just last year, my Metsies got to give them such a lovely butt-kicking…1, 2, 3, 4, never so much as a lead. Stupid Bumgarner. We would have found a way to do it again. Oh, well.

If you are a Mets fan, why would you care about a Cubs statistic?

In game 6 against the Dodgers, Cubs pitchers faced the minimum. Only the 2nd time in MLB post season history has this ever happened. The other one was Don Larson's perfecto in 1956.

Wow.

I say the Cubs in 6. They have more depth, more star power and the intangibles. A sweep isn't impossible.

Heard the same things in the ALDS and ALCS

Should be a great series either way!

This is true but the Indians have had some luck to get this far. If anything the Cubs have underperformed.
