I want that Chubby Korean montage to be played at my funeral.

The Dodgers are definitely not passing the Snell test!

Snell wasn't pulled because of the hit
But because it's the third time through the order

I hope the Dodgers pound this bullpen and everyone complains about taking out a pitcher who was dealing.

You are about to get your wish. I am never an advocate of pulling a dominant pitcher who has thrown only 73 pitches, no matter what today's advanced analysis says. "Ooops."

They probably should have factored in the 2 hit shutout and minimal pitch count from recent Cy Young winner into the strategy sheets. If I was a TB fan I would be PISSED

Kevin Cash has out-Dave Roberts'd Dave Roberts.

That takes talent. He's learning a harsh lesson tonight in that sometimes you just have to let it ride instead of clinging to analytics.

Can't wait for all the hot takes about how "analytics" are wrong when instead it's the use of them that is (arguably) wrong.

Data shows that the batters will generally perform better the third time they see a pitcher, true.

That does not mean anyone advocates a hard and fast rule to "always do this" or "never do that" for each situation.

I'm not gonna question Cash's decision to pull Snell, but I absolutely will criticize him for the reliever he brought in! If you're gonna pull Snell there you gotta bring in someone that can get outs and not the coldest pitcher currently on the Ray's roster. Terrible call.

I'm happy for the Dodgers - they deserved to win in more ways than one - but I cannot help feeling bad for a scrappy and deserving team like the Rays. One bad managerial decision from a deciding Game 7; sorry, but that is what it boils down to in hindsight now. That is how history will view this result.

Well, turns out you can't actually win a title with one (1) guy hitting and a Chubby Korean doing the splits.

Ugh, I have to flick this off. Corey Seager's contemptible face makes me nauseous.

The Rays scored one run against a motley collection of bullpen arms. That's not a "deserving" performance and a bigger contribution than the Snell decision.

Or a "motley collection of bullpen arms" is an effective way to get outs

Yeah.

I would set the expectation at over one run allowed though
