Another MacBook question: is it possible to change the resolution/minimize window mode somehow? The game looks pretty bad even with the highest resolution.

The new leagues notes are totally awesome, it's amazing to have some context for all these leagues around the world !

The thing is: resolution looks pretty bad on MacBook, even when I set it the highest settings in-game. Actually it doesn't matter if it's 1280x768 or 2560x1600. It's always fullscreen and doesn't look sharp at all. Texts are sluggish and look bad. Never had this issue in Windows because in Windows the game didn't force it to fullscreen.

Excited to hear this - does this mean that player creation can now follow regions or provinces/states over just countries in a custom game, for example? |

To begin with, probably just a longer (possibly unlimited) list of countries that players can generate from. Region/state origins might be doable, though, I have to think about that a bit.

Enjoyable stream last night, feel like this will help a lot of people get into the college game (myself included). Not being a US native I'm an adopted fan and some of the concepts still elude me!
Just a thought but it would be good to have the players academic year available on the training assignment screen, either replacing the dressed column or even in parentheses after the players name or something, just because obviously you want to invest your training time in the younger guys as you've got them for the longest time. Also liked the idea of having the poll rankings show on the standings screen, did you mean in the conventional manner of them being displayed as "Team(#1)" ? EDIT - Also, is there anyway of knowing the 'pull' of your program? As I said if you're not familiar with the schools reputations irl, does the game steer you towards the level of prospect you've got the most chance of obtaining? Do international players consider all schools or only top ones? Is it based on recent success? I'm Ohio State and I'm not sure of their rep in the Hockey world so I dont know if I should shoot for local guys or if I could get any prospect worldwide EDIT- Also, the new tactical info tips are so great, such a useful addition that will make things much more digestible for new fans and even those old fans who don't know the ins and outs of hockey tactics. Just listening to the stream (and this has been mentioned before on the forum in the larger older tactical posts) Jeff says that once you're done setting each individual tactic based on the fit it has for your team, to then make sure it "makes sense" overall, as I understand some tactical concepts don't work when transitioning into others. Could this be added as another bullet point underneath each tactical setting? ie "Works well from (tactic before) to (tactic after)" so it gives people an idea. You've got the tip on there about what it works strong AGAINST though I'm not sure how many people scout opponents tactics when considering their own and as far as I know people just want to play to their own strengths and this would help build on this already great improvement for FHM9. Really weird but I tried to trade for Patrick Kane at the deadline and when I tried to get Chicago to retain salary, no option came up. Is this a glitch or does this just mean that they have no interest in retaining salary for any deal involving Kane?

"You need to open the game in low resolution mode. There used to be an option to enable this on the app itself, but for some reason that's gone now in Monterey. You'll have to edit the file yourself. Go to your game directory (if you use Steam this is probably something like /Users/<you>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Out of the Park Baseball 22). Right click on the OOTP Baseball 22 app and select "Show Package Contents". Open up the Contents/Info.plist file in a text editor. Add the line <key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key> <false/> right before the final </dict> at the end of the file." I also had to remove the previous <key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key> line from the textfile |

-geographical location relative to the player (same state, or a bigger bonus if player is from the same city) -academic reputation (team data) page (only applies to the smarter players, i.e. high INT on the draft screen) -tuition cost (higher ones provide a bonus to recruiting chances if a full scholarship is offered, or a smaller one for partial) -check the "Market" tab on the League-League Finances screen and sort by Market Size (used as a proxy for overall program reputation in some player decisions), -current season record -past season record -recent championships |

No, there's no way to separate the college league from a standard game, it has to be part of the overall structure of the standard game.

Should've been available, did whatever you were offering back to them potentially put them in a cap situation where they couldn't have afforded the retained cap?

Shop Player
One of the features that I like is "Shop Player"
It would be really nice if this option was available from the trade tab. Ideally I'd like to be able to retain on certain players (for example 50% on Sean Monahan) and offer him up to the entire league with retention. Assuming that's what will happen in real life this season. Right not when I shop him (via trade options when you right click on him) I get no one interested as his 6.375 cap hit is too high for most teams. However, I bet their would be a few takers if we retained and were offering him for 3.19M |
