I had made an Oscars LA team for myself, so a little googling for "Bollywood Awards" got me to the Filmfare Awards, and their statuette, "The Black Lady", which makes a great nickname for this team.

this is the best way I came up with for putting text on this (I tried several circular versions), and I couldn't think of anything to make it baseball related (a glove on her tentacle hand would be too stupid), so I just made one that says Baseball Club. the blank one could be an alternate small logo

It's always exciting getting the notification you've posted on this thread! Brilliant as always, I really like these - great find with that trophy. I don't think every badge necessarily needs a baseball link and this works so well and has bags of personality. Agree it's too small (thin) to work with the picture only, but the non-text version works great as the small logo. I think the colours/gradients here are particularly great, it looks very sleek, which seems fitting. Thanks again 20_range

I agree, the cream and gray gradient really looks good. Turned out i accidentally recteated my favorite mtg palette lol. As usual, I will be looking for some way to reuse this for my league.

Very excited to see what you come up with for the Bytes!

As I know you don't have enough to do, my league will be expanding to 17 teams per division on its relentless quest to get to 18 teams per division. The expansion teams in 2058 will be (colours only if helpful, totally open to whatever you come up with as its always great!):

- Athens Philosophers (probably blue and white?)
- Cape Town Penguins (black and white?)
- Osaka Blossoms (named as such to use your Tokyo Blossoms logo which I love if you can make me a variant?)
- Chongqing Hotpots (red I guess...)
- Dallas Cosmopolitans (green and white?)
- Manaus Jaguars (Was thinking Jacksonville Jaguars kind of colour scheme?)
- Perth Fairywrens (navy blue and dark blue - like the bird)
- Winnipeg Caribou

Obvs no rush or obligation with these _20 range, only bother if you like the idea of doing them!!

the Bytes! I originally wanted to do something severe and abstract for this, but after looking at a tech company logo or two I scrapped that and went kawaii again. This is based on an old logo for the Taiwanese Brother Elephants - I drew the mouse head, added uniform details and a longer tail.


I think maybe I thought of this because the Brother Elephants have the yellow and black color scheme?



um its a mouse mascot for the computer theme


anyway I love it and I'm using it to complete my Japanese league with Hiroshima and maybe a Philly team

I also love it, yet another example of '20_range has made a superb logo for this team and I now love them and want to see how they're doing in this humongous league'.

Love the mouse-computer link, and the logo is full of personality.

Thanks also for the Osaka Blossoms logo. I'm finding myself wanting to steal a load of teams from your Japanese thread (so many great logos), but want to make sure I'm not putting two many Japanese teams in my league so this will probably be the last one, but maybe I can shoehorn in one of the other logos for a team from somewhere else in the next expansion.

I wanted to improve it, but I just recolored it. The teal looked terrible, so I used a green closer to the original Polish postage stamp Still not fully satisfied with this or the original Mexico City version, but I think I'll have to get better before trying to improve this, there's not a lot I can do with the source image at this skill level - I'd have to learn to draw and then redraw it to get it right.

Perfect, sorry I should have said no need to change the colour of the Mexico City one you had - but I do really like what you've done with the pastely teal here so I'll be using that one. I think it looks great! Thank you

I had to google what 'tunas' were in this context and realise now they are a type of cactus fruit, and not that really big fish. The Juarez logos are so colourful, I love them.

The colours/fonts of the Hotpots one are great, and I like the grainy red background a lot. The small version could just be some lettering? I know I'm usually a picture guy, but I think a mix of both is no bad thing for the league as a whole!

And once again, thank you!!! I'm once again toying with the idea of starting some sort of light-hearted podcast about the Sheffield Mountain Hares at the end of this season (and beginning of this next expansion), but we'll see if I manage to actually find time...

Oh and let me think on the Cosmopolitans, I may just choose another name for something you already have a logo for given you have so many great ones.

After all this I'd be glad to hear more about your league, a list of champions, a fictional origin story... maybe starting a thread on this board somewhere will help you start this project. Kind of wish I had for my league, and maybe I will for my next save.

The name and concept for Tunas comes from jag224's league. Your classic giant saguaro cactus doesn't grow there. I love these prompts for that reason - why else would I have read about the Chihuahuan Desert? the prickly pears look OK to me, but I wanted it to look like a baseball glove- I'll be using it for Guadalajara I think in my league and it can be improved, or a border added.

I'll make a little distressed small red logo. Surprisingly hard to find illustrations of Sichuan peppercorns- I thought maybe something like the logo of our local restaurant .

Bats is good. It'll make me resurrect my frustrating/abandoned Austin Bats attempted logo. and I found a Bulgarian reindeer stamp last night lol, so the Caribou should eventually come into existence

These are glorious, and I like the bonus Pixies edition (my band used to play a lot of Pixies covers - mainly Surfer Rosa stuff) - one for the limited edition fan t-shirt or something. The font, the colours, the caribou, I love it, thank you!

The Commonwealth star from Australia's flag fills in as the national symbol. I tried to use the yellow from Australia's soccer jerseys but it didn't work on a white background. There's an offwhite version with red (red color code from the UK/Western Australia's flag) and then with with white background and a sort of copper/iron/metal color, which I guess represents the giant mines and extraction industries in Western Australia.

These are lovely! You did that just from that photo? It's a really good depiction of a fairy wren, gets across all the distinctive features in a bold way perfect for a logo. I need to try them in game to decide my favourite but am leaning towards the full white one. Won't be able to test until these 2057 playoffs are done and I can add the expansion teams in, which I'm excited about. Thank you as always!
