Thanks! Next question:

I know that if I have the mod in Workshop Central, I can download it from there and then if I start a new game, the ballparks auto-load. Which is cool. So, if you were to make updates or fixes to a couple of parks that are in my future OOTP (say I'm in 1925 in OOTP and you have made changes to Riverfront and the Astrodome), how would I make sure that once I get to the 60's in my game, I get the updated versions of those parks and not the ones I had originally downloaded as part of the whole collection? ... If that makes sense...

The game should import whatever files you have for the any of the stadiums at the end of each playoff for the next season. If you were to download a later update mid season. You could go to the park editor and select auto import all parks and they should all update. Not sure if that is clear

I'm having some trouble with some of these ballparks where the crowd images appear on the outfield walls, or even in place of the grass. Any idea why that might be and how to fix it?

Re: 1954 Sportsmans Park ring around the pitcher's mound

Could I ask you, with a pretty please with sugar on top, to remove the dirt ring around the pitcher's mound? I grew up in St. Louis and attended many games there. It was a wonderful ballpark, but there was no dirt ring around the pitcher's mound from the time I attended my first game there in 1957 until the stadium closed in 1966.

Thanks much. Your stadiums are awesome.

I went by the stadium diagrams for each era by Andrew Clem. If that is inaccurate, I can change it.

From the 1964 World Series. No ring around the pitcher's mound.

I would really appreciate it. I am an eyewitness! The ring existed in 1946 when the Cardinals played the Red Sox, but when Anheuser Busch bought the Cardinals and the stadium in 1953-1954, the ring was gone.

Here's a version without the circle

I apologize as I uploaded sportsmans park zip above without the textures directory. I have fixed it and the link is the same.

Thanks

Adding the parks

Once I download the park images how do I get them into the game?

Any chance Nagoya Dome can be added to the SketchUp files please? Or did I miss it under another name?

Arsenal Park background

I am not an expert at editing ballparks, but I've kind of figured a few things out on my own when downloading other peoples' files.

For instance, when I go into "textures", if someone has a dugout.png file, I know I can paste over that file to make the dugout say what I want it to.

I have also painted over skylines or backgrounds here and there.

I was looking for the skyline or background for Arsenal Park in its textures and I couldn't find it.

Is there a way something like that can be edited if I don't see it in the textures?

Not quite I'll try to be more specific with my question.

1) I start a historical sim, beginning with the 1920 season. At this point I have the mod in workshop central and all is good my 3D stadiums and so forth.

2) Three weeks later my game is in the 1940's, and you have just made updates to Riverfront Stadium and the Astrodome. Doesn't affect me at this point because I'm in the 40's and those stadiums don't come in to play for 20-some sim years.

3) A few weeks later my sim is in the 60's. At this point do I need to do anything to make sure that I get the most-recent versions (the ones you updated in #2 above) of Riverfront and the Astrodome?

I think I get what you are saying. Let me put it this way:

After the World Series is over each season, the game does a check for the next season’s historic ballparks and should update them at that point.

Whatever your ballparks folder looks like at that time each season is what you will get.

Crosley question

First off, I can't tell you how much enjoyment I get out of these historical parks. I only do replays from the 50's and before so having all these parks already set up and ready to go is great. I do wonder if it might go on a low priority to-do list to tweak the psychedelic melting windows on the building beyond the outfield wall.

Thanks...

Been a while since I updated this, but I have added a new version of Memorial Stadium in Baltimore for the time period of 1959-1975

The fence is a bit deeper than the one after it and I saw scoreboards on the walls in a pic on the net.

I am re-naming the others around this one to remove any overlapping years.

I will update the steam workshop at some point as well

enjoy!

I also Updated the newly renamed Memorial Stadium 1976-1991 version

- Added some extended bleachers in left and right center
- Added distance markers on walls
- Added bullpens in CF
- Added batters eye
- Other small tweaks

Enjoy
