Ike Delock (1952), John Donaldson (1966), Derrell Griffith (1963), Jim Nash (1966)
Two requests - Delock with the '63 Orioles and Nash with the '72 Phillies.
And two recent acquisitions (I'm sure you recognize the photographer) that it's almost impossible to believe exist. Derrell Griffith went from the Dodgers to the Mets in the Tommy Davis/Ron Hunt deal in the winter of 1966 and was then traded on to the Astros for Sandy Alomar on March 24, 1967. Other than the Met spring training team picture I've never seen any shot of him in a New York uniform, let alone in color. I don't want to make any undue comparisons, but this one being in the collection I obtained, absolutely floored me. And Donaldson is shown during the experiment, of only a few days, in which the A's players wore the "coaches' cap" white design worn by their managers and coaches roughly 1966-79. Dateline St Louis - Phils & Cards work in some interdivision trading, swapping Rick Bosetti, Dane Iorg, and Tom Underwood for Steve Waterboy er - um - Waterbury and the Fulton Flash - 'Bake' McBride.
Arnold Ray McBride gets the regular Topps treatment as part of being pictured as a Phil in the '78 Set and wins a W.S. ring in 1980. Tom Underwood gets the Mad Magazine photoshopped job after going 6-9 across 17 starts for Vern Rapp's wunderkids in 1977. He then gets flipped to Toronto at year end in a deal that included the incomparable Clu Haywood - Pete Vuckovich. Poof and just like that - he was gone. How should Cards fans remember the Tom Underwood era?  I've checked with the local paper in St Louis, and I've even contacted friends down in the office of the ballclub - Does a color photo of Mr Underwood exist anywhere in a Cards uni? HELP! P.S. Would you have the following in the below uniform format? Of course the Kelly green and polar bear white jerseys would be welcome as well. Also, if possible, I'd like them to be in their typical "facial" hair as well. The cap would be the same as below but the cap button and visor would be in California Gold consistent with the pic of Fingers and with the same 1971 style cap emblem as below.
