Wow Garry Powers has really dropped off in the last 2 months, hopefully he can pick it up for the Playoffs. But I think his career is well and truly on the way down now.

Strong start from King propels the Cubs into the Division series against Powers and the juggernaut Giants.
Long and Tampa bounced by the ChiSox |

If the Cubs or Yankees win it Garry Powers might just go into hiding or retire and move to Australia! Go Royals and Cardinals

King can't manage to propel the Cubs past the Cards.
Larrabee and Bolt attempt to add more hardware to the Cardinal's franchise and their own trophy case. |

Larrabee and Bolt help the Cards add their 15th championship and their 2nd in the last 3 seasons. The Cards are on a historic run since drafting the young hitters. They have made the playoffs every year since 2048 and have 3 rings in that time.

King is the only pending FA, you wanna renegoiate with the Cubs or go FA?
In coaching news, Keeran Sr. decided enough was enough and retired at age 66. |

I'm torn between wanting to make it happen in Chicago and going somewhere where I could definitely get a ring. I think we will re-up with the Cubs, hopefully this wasn't a fluke year, and we can bring it home this time

Awards season.
Larrabee and Girard finished 2 and 3 in the MVP voting respectively. |

Sorry I had to put this on hold the last few days, we had a release at my company that required me to work some really odd hours and it totally messed up my internal clock and took all my free time away pretty much. Starting this back up right now.
