I'm going through my teams and seeing what I may yet need of your IPA teams now. Will post the teams I have items for and which teams I still need items for, once done. I probably will still need the items for about a quarter to a half of the teams in your IPA, at least, but don't know exact numbers at the moment, seeing as I've done work on a number of them in the past, of course. I will give you all the details about the Freeman Brothers when I recap the 2073 IPA season and do an update at midseason for the South Island Supreme League.

Be patient... I will let you know how they are doing... Gordon Freeman has been injured in his first season... he was released by Hillsboro in '72... I put him back on the reserve roster and improved his ratings a little bit... he was again released by the team in '73.

I'll put Gordon Freeman in the Free Agents and see if anyone will sign him.

Come to think of it, I may have put Gordon on the worst team in the IPA, hoping he would make the team and play... will let you know.

Arthyr Freeman is the regular shortstop for the Hillsboro Blazers... he is in his second season, doing OK... just an average player.

I don't have superstars like jg2977...the Freemans in my IPA are just average players... I let the AI create them... I didn't boost their ratings to such high levels.

When you complete your teams and have your league ready to go and begin to play, I will give you the teams you need to complete it... no need to do it now... my IPA graphics are for 1940 to 1970... it will be a long, long time before you need them.... apparently you are still in the 1880s era.

Your leagues are always in the planning stage... you never seem to play out your leagues.

I know I have told you before... start a league in the 1880s... get all your graphics for the 1880s... begin play... and worry about future graphics needed in the early 1900s... 1920s... 1930s... 1940s when you reach those dates... don't try to collect the graphics from 1880 to 2022 before you play you league.

Start in 1880 with what you have already collected graphics-wise and begin to enjoy the game... play 20 seasons and then start collecting graphics for the 1900 era... play 20 more seasons and then get the graphics updated to the 1940s and 1950s... update the graphics every 20 years until to you get to modern-day baseball.

Use the quickstart that tm1681 is going to hopefully post for the OOTP Community... that would get you up and running quickly.

How do you like the animation?

I really enjoy playing out all my games in the IPA playoffs and playing out completely each and every game in the South Island Leagues... I am getting better at choosing the camera views... your camera settings really make a difference.

Let me know which way you view the games... maybe you can teach me something.

Hopefully, jg2977 will chime in and give his camera views, too... I hope he knows more about it than I do... soon I am going to post a thread on the OOTP22 Discussions Forum and see if the OOTP Community will share their camera view settings.

I will try to do it this weekend, if I can, but I've not played much of late, for various reasons. I'll certainly try and get to downloading it by the end of the month, in any case, because I'll want to try and get a good look at it by the time my birthday rolls around in four weeks from today, for sure. That's supposing I can and all, somehow, of course.

Not having any, or at least not much, success on the writing-related front lately, either. I think I've been stalled on Lighting Up the Darkness for several months now, more or less, in terms of writing more content for its main story text, unfortunately. If I'm not too mistaken, I don't believe I've been able to write even a new page's worth of content for at least two months, if not longer, at that. Possibly even at least three or four months, if not five, come to think of it.

I'm trying to get past the block in question, but it's like there's a brick wall, or something, so to speak, keeping me from continuing the story somehow. Or at least that's what it may seem like to me at the present time, anyway. I could be wrong, of course, but I don't think God is behind this blockage I'm trying to get past, to be honest.

Whatever the case might be here, in terms of that story and perhaps others as well, I still believe that I'll eventually be able to write more content for various stories soon, somehow, Lord willing and all, of course. No matter which story or stories they may currently be here for me, EC. I'm still at least a little bit frustrated, at least, with this sort of thing here, obviously. But I still have at least some considerable degree of hope that I can eventually complete a number of my current stories, whether they are original fiction stories or fanfiction stories, one way or another, somehow.

I'll talk more later, as time allows and all, I'm sure, if and when possible and all. Lord willing, of course, that is. In the meantime, I'll still see what I can do in various areas of my life and all, for sure, whether it's matters related to graphics, writing, housework, helping my parents, or first and foremost doing the Lord's work to the best of my ability whenever I can, for as long as I can and all, EC. On writing and the stories you are working on, if you put the same resources and time into what you are doing here in OOTP and creating dynasties and leagues, I believe you will find success. Splitting your time by hobbies other than writing means can't do justice to either. Your output on the forums and things created here would reward you as well with your writing.

Writing is a harsh mistress. She demands a lot, and rewards those that put the work in. We all need hobbies, and I have mine. When I write, i ignore those hobbies, and concentrate on my thoughts and stories I am creating on paper (computer, etc). You will find a balance, or you find that you enjoy other things more than writing. Your choices are yours.

Good luck with your endeavors no matter what you decide. Like Eugene said, take some time to just play OOTP and enjoy the fruits of your hard work creating things. Afterwards, you might find clarity and focus you want for non-OOTP projects!

Actually, TC Dale, I'm trying to find a spark or something of inspiration to help me when it comes to writing things. Hence one reason I've been doing all these graphics for a good while recently, if not the only reason, for sure.

I wouldn't call writing a mistress, but it is still very important to me in my life, just the same. And I wouldn't consider my graphics work or writing, for instance, to be hobbies of mine, necessarily, either. As far as my writing career, I've been working in it since I was 15, more or less, when possible and all. But I am still writing at times like I used to write in high school, in certain respects, at least, unfortunately.

And that isn't necessarily a good thing, of course. But I definitely do try to work as best as I can and as often as I can on improving my writing skills more and more in my life, for sure, in any case. It often is a real challenge to do so, in certain ways, for various reasons. I do love to often read and write things, too, if and whenever I can.

Sometimes I even play games like Tetris or Civilization IV, for instance, to try and get inspired in a writing sense, but sometimes it's not easy to do well in them, if at all possible. Of course, I've played the OOTP baseball games before, but I've never gotten more than about 40 or so years into a dynasty so far, for various reasons.

I haven't watched a full episode of Jeopardy! either for about a year now, in truth, if memory serves me correctly. It's probably not just because Alex is no longer around, mind you, but I probably wasn't really interested in seeing the musical chair-type thing with so many guest hosts around. Especially when it came to certain ones of them, for various reasons. I used to get a lot of ideas from watching the games, I think. But now that I haven't watched any full episodes of Jeopardy! for a while, that may be one reason for my current writing difficulties with certain stories of mine, I admit.

I'm sure the stories will come to me eventually, somehow, if they are meant to come, as they need to come. But it is still rather frustrating at times when one is having great difficulty with doing certain things they might want or need to do in their lives, for sure. CD out.

Do one of the two... start you a 1880's league and begin to play OOTPB with the graphics and teams you have right now... or just jump in and do some writing on your novel.

Just do one of your hobbies.

It shouldn't take you a month to install OOTP22... you have had it for about a month already... you have no reason not to install the new version... why don't you do it today?.

"Today is a day the Lord has made... let's rejoice and be glad in it"... it is time to concentrate on one of your two hobbies... and also time to install OOTP22... it is time to rejoice... not procrastinate... it's time to enjoy playing OOTP22 complete with your new 1880s league.

I have offered to send you a flash drive with all of my IPA teams and their graphics, but you will not give me your mailing address, fearing that I am up to some kind of no good... you could send me your address in a private message and have everything you need.

I don't think you're up to no good in asking for my postal address, EC. But my parents still live with me, as you know, and they would prefer, I believe, that as few people know it as possible, for various reasons, you see. If I were out on my own, away from them, in a place of my choosing, I would gladly let you know it, I believe. But I'm not, so that is why I haven't done so yet, seeing as I am still under their roof, so to speak, even as we all age in this life.

As far as graphics for certain teams done by others which I haven't grabbed yet, I hope to do so soon, if I can. But I've been rather busy of late, as well, even around the house, for sure. Not to mention also continuing to study the Bible and meditating on things in it and/or praying, et cetera, of course. There are a lot of things in the Word that we need to try and understand as best as possible, for sure.

Don't forget also that I still have to deal with AS daily, Eugene. It's not always easy for me to focus on things as needed at times, in fact. Especially when many ideas are often going through my mind at times, and I haven't necessarily sorted them out well enough just yet in it. Hence my hopping around with many things from time to time in my life. Such as my various thought-veins in terms of graphics around here, for instance.

I'm certain I will be able to progress certain dynasties more in time, Lord willing and all. But it may be a while in certain cases here, if not many or most of them, just the same. In any case, I will still try my best to handle certain things better and quicker as I can and all, if possible and all, for sure, Eugene. CD out.

My Earth Baseball Association dynasty will probably be one of the dynasties I will focus on more in the near future, I think. I've been trying to think about how I could perhaps incorporate the Freemans into Lighting Up the Darkness somehow, but haven't figured that out just yet, for instance. Whether it is Henry, Gordon Clyde, or Arthyr Gyolgi, if not at least two or three of them, or others associated with them or not, I still haven't just yet, if I will.

There is still quite a bit of that story yet to write, and without hopefully spoiling the rest of my plan too much for it, I plan to have my narrator hopping between timelines, worlds, and/or dimensions of the Universe later in the story, for sure. Still a lot of planning and writing left to do for the entire story, for sure, in any case.

Of course, if everything could be zipped up somehow, and put somewhere I could download it well enough, that would work, and not potentially risk getting myself in trouble with my parents for sharing our address with others outside my family, EC. Then I'd be able to progress with certain things sooner and all, I'm sure. But we both don't really know how to do that well enough here, it seems, unfortunately, or at least we don't yet, I think.

Maybe someone around here can tell us sufficiently well just how to zip certain things up safely and all, and how to then send them privately to certain people if and whenever necessary, appropriate, and/or desired, then. No offense taken, mon ami. It can be hard to remember that others aren't quite like you in certain ways, you know. And that they may not always see things as you do, for example. We all have our own personal life experiences and all, of course, which are often quite different from those of other people in this world.

Both of us had hard childhoods, and my Dad lost his own Dad at a very young age, just like you did, it seems. I have no doubt that still affects him deeply even after more than 70 years of time since then, even if he never talks about it with me, or almost never. He had a rough childhood, in many respects, just like you did, as far as I know, I believe. I had a hard childhood too, but even so, it must have been even rougher for my departed brother who is now with Jesus, for reasons you probably already know of at least to some degree now.

But think of it this way, at least. All these afflictions will make what's coming for those who love the Lord even sweeter to see in eternity, for instance, I'm quite sure. And to hear and all. I can't wait to see my brother singing the praises of God in eternity, if at all possible and all, of course, Lord willing and all, EC. CD out.

You just get them each zipped up, as best as you can and as soon as you can, or have someone do so for you, then please let me know how to do the same, and we'll go from there as needed and as possible. As far as unzipping them, I have IZArc, which I have often used to get the fonts I've downloaded into a form I can use them in. Once I run them through IZArc as needed, and install them, I have used, can use, and often do use them in my graphics and other projects, for sure, normally, it seems, EC. CD out.

Only through God, only through God, can I be so much as I am now, or will ever be, for sure. NOT because of my own efforts, but only because of God alone, have I ever been able to stay as positive as I have been and all, even with all we've gone through during my lifetime or at other times in our family, I firmly believe. To God alone be the glory and the praise and the thanks for everything good that I or we have had since I was conceived, if not before then, in any case.

I'm nothing if I don't have Him, and there's absolutely no doubt whatsoever about that in my mind. What's more, there hasn't been any doubt in my mind about that for a very long time, in truth.

And what more do I actually need for sure but God? Nothing, for He, in all three of His Persons, is everything I really only need in my life, whether it's on Earth or in Eternity, I truly believe in my own existence now. Sure, I may want to have other things or people in it, of course. But He's still the most important part of my life, or at least I try to always keep Him as such in it, most definitely, Eugene.
