After a final day/month push by Cedar Rapids, Waffletown clung on by the slimmest of margins. Paxville were just 2 wins against Helthwyzer away from taking the Crown, but, alas, they couldn't solve the Crakes.

No doubting that the Syrups were Gold OL team of the year, so congratulations for a well deserved title!


Waffletown will be promoted to Diamond if they win their DS - good luck!

Algoma, Cedar Rapids, Helthwyzer, Paxville, and Texarkana will be staying in Gold.

Boston and Kaipo will be relegated to Silver.

Talk about a slim margin…. Was more hands off this season,since I didn’t have many/any upgrade options… hopefully that approach keeps working, as I’m on an unexpected business trip this weekend in Orlando…. Flying back at noon…. I’ll update the online sheet later today when I get back home

While we await results for stone and diamond, here's how the races for the two new awards are shaping up. Gear Terrace, with a winning percentage of .800 leads for the first Joe McCarthy Plaque.Sugar Hill and Otsego Lake have the exact same record, so unless one of the two remaining leagues reports a sadder sack, we will have two Wooden Spoons Trophies to hand out.

Boy what a bad day-I can't even win the worst record outright

To make matters worse I opened the 21 packs Coney Island won in tourneys yesterday. It has to have been the single worst run I ever have had. Not even a live gold. I don't expect a hit every time out but usually even if its a card I won't use I get something I find interesting or an old timer I want to look up.

I have an old friend in town & will be hanging out with him today before he leaves. I will try & post the Diamond standings if no one has when I return.

I have no idea how it was going or ended up.

Packs have been especially bad lately. Probably opened around 300 packs across my teams, and have had multiple double-digit runs of 6 live trash packs.

The live to historical skew has been, and always will be, terrible. I know and understand why they have to have it this way though. Still doesn't make it good.

If Dan Winkler goes up 40 pts in tomorrows live update I will hit the jackpot. Pulled him 3 more more times today. He has become my Chris Davis from PT20

My 2nd team are ready for OL, so I've added the tags and updated my friends list. I won't be shocked if I find myself going solo next week as it seems like Sunday is probably a bit late to do this, but we'll see...

They're currently in Bronze, but probably heading to Silver. Still a bit SE heavy, but I'm picking away at them.

In a relatively light OL schedule (51 games combined across all 5 teams), Annandale emerge victorious because they were able win the season series with Cary 13-6.

No OL team has been relegated, and only the Nowhere Men are participating in the playoffs today.

It took 10 innings but Coney Island won their WC game thanks to a solo home run off the bat of Ripper Collins. The Warriors are heading to Port Ruppert to take on the Mundys. I took a glance as the teams met 19 times this season, eleven were decided by one run and two by two runs.

As soon as I can get the result for Otsego Lake's series, I will post next week's lineup. All other positions are set. I'm not quite sure whether Shoebox will stay in stone or go back to rookie because they are in a three-way tie for the sixth relegation spot. In any event, niether level will have four OL teams next week. It doesn't appear we'll be getting stone results, so I will just list them there.


Also, I may as well post the two new awards and the front page to keep things moving along. Good luck to those still playing.
