Unfortunately, both Gear Terrace and Otsego Lake lost in game five, so we're down to four teams.

Here's the line-up for next week. I have included Knockemstiff (and also added them to the spreadsheet, Jason). Please take the time now to check your friends list, set it to use friends list and submit. You might want to double check before you hit the sack, because things have been known to be changed by the servers.

Rookie - Hartford, Burnside
Stone - Sunday, Iron Maiden, Shoebox
Iron - Left Coast, Gem City, Daytona Beach, Las Vegas, Lumberton, Otsego Lake
Bronze - Gettysburg, South Holland, Gear Terrace, Sugar Hill, Inland Empire, Cleveland, Bluffton, Route 66, West Burlington

My brother and I got partway through making some before we decided that we'd rather "recreate" other AH games based only on articles from Strategy and Tactics magazine. If we had kept going we would have ended up fighting about slanted lines and where the spinner was pointing anyway.

Thanks, Stanley. As long as Knockemstiff get put in the right league, I'll be able to take care of Silver next week.

Thats the game that got me started-I even had my grandfather send away for the all-time great disks.

Carlos Beltran hit an 8th-inning homer off Mark Langston to deliver a 3-2 win for the Boston Bees over the Asheboro Road Dogs, taking the American Conference finals in seven games, denying an OL World Series.

Port Ruppert, the lone OL team left in the PT playoffs, bears the responsibility of representing OL's final hope for post season hardware for 2033.

2033 Waffletown Syrups wrap up:

Thanks to a solid season against divisional opponents (14-5 against three of them, 10-9 against the other), Waffletown cruised to a 95-67 record to clinch the NC West division crown.

Rookie left fielder Lou Brock had an impressive first season with the club, leading the league in hits (185), doubles (49), slugging percentage (.567) and OPS (.962). He also led the team in batting average (.332) and stolen bases (76).

In the post season, Waffletown took down the Castroville Mashers in the LDS 3 games to 1 (Syrups CF Lenny Dykstra was awarded the series MVP). Unfortunately for Syrups fans though, they crashed and burned in the LCS, failing to win a single game against the ironically named Basement Dwellers

On to the Diamond league (and perhaps a quick ticket back to Gold

)

picked up some packs from the twitch stream tonight.... and since I have no patience to let them pile up

opened 'em once I got all 5...

first four packs the usual bronze live and the iron quintet.... last pack made it all worth it.... Otey Clark AND Phil Hiatt!

oh yeah, and some guy named Burleigh Grimes

checked my missions after the 5 pack opening.... finished off a random bronze mission and picked up another pack.... opened that one.... (so back-to-back packs right after the Grimes opening)

(half tempted to spend all my points on packs tonight to see if this continues

So one of my (non-OL) Red Sox teams finally won a World Series -- by beating one of my other (non-OL) Red Sox teams! That's the only way we couldn't lose! Bar Harbor topped Concord in a Bronze League thriller, heh.

The OL Sox, alas, were a bit overmatched in Gold. We look forward to rebuilding in Silver.
