Wayne Richard Krenchicki colorized by request with the Baltimore Orioles. This image was a rough one to which to apply color. The resolution is fairly low so the finished product does not come out as clear as with the normal photos I work with. Having said that, I thought it turned out reasonably well. When I was looking at the final colorization I was struck by its resemblance to the old Dick Steele Donruss Diamond Kings. I experimented with it a little and created a custom 1982 style version of Krenchicki as one of those exalted painted heroes of the eighties and nineties.

Don't get me wrong. Krantzbucks has done a tremendous job, as always to colorize that very bad B&W face of Krenchicki. But I question rlumpkin on his demand. Is this really serious?? Topps Vault has posted 7 different pics of Orioles's Krenchicki...all poses...4 faces and 3 batting poses. And you can find some more with a simple Google search. There should be a "Come on, Man!" thread here.
