I can't change the birthplace to Columbia, Missouri... tried but the game could not find Columbia, Missouri... it just puts "Unknown" there.

Can't change the birthday dates, either.

Please just accept this... don't post lengthy ways to fix it... I don't want to take the time to do it.

Then a bug or something must have happened in that dynasty, somehow, I think. Because I know that Columbia, Missouri, for sure, is in the game as an available location. So is Chesterfield, Missouri, among other cities and locations in the world database file, even though I haven't yet played OOTP 22. Maybe the game on your new computer hasn't loaded in the appropriate world database file yet. You may want or need to submit a bug report, perhaps, or ask why that might happen for certain players, whether real or fictional, as well.

Just a suggestion or two here, that's all. Take it or them as you will, please, then.

I'm sure I can use those new logos for Turon and Eastshore, too. As for the San Alejo ones, at least for the versions of the primary logo options, they'll probably need the proper spelling for them later on, I think.

If you are in Commissioner Mode, you can go to their respective profiles, and open the editor. Once that is done, you should look for the location where their hometown goes. Type in at least a few letters, then hit Enter, I believe. Perhaps a pull-down menu will then appear. Choose the proper location, and then hit Enter. After you do that, see what happens, EC. CD out.

Here's how you hopefully should be able to get them birthplaces again, EC.

1. If you are in Commissioner Mode, go to their respective profiles as needed and/or desired.

2. Click on Editor tab.

3. Go to City Search line, and input desired city name, before hitting Enter. Chesterfield, Missouri and/or Columbia, Missouri, for example, should both be viewable when you do the next step here, if you were to input them on the applicable line in the editor.

4. If there is more than one place with the same name that you typed in the previous step, at least in part, if not entirely, then a pull-down menu should appear on the line that says Select City of Birth. Choose the proper location, and then hit Enter.

5. Change back to the main profile screen, and it should show the changes made. This should work for practically any other player you might have in your IPA at most, if not all, times, too.

The last screenshot of post 1923 in this thread seems to be of GC's fielding statistics here. For I don't think AG has ever pitched in your IPA, has he? Just so you know, EC.

Who did GC get traded for by Bay St. Clair when he went to Far Mountain? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.

CD, post 1923 has all Hillsboro stats... which is the team Arthyr plays for.

I think it is correct now, but will double check.

Gordon and pitcher Eddy Bohannon were traded to Far Mountain... Bohannon is 20 years old, 3-9 in 2 seasons, 6.19 ERA... Bay St. Clair got T.D. Hannum, second baseman, 20 years old... hit only .133 in very few games... and Christopher Moore, catcher. 24 years old... batted only .138... he didn't play much... none of the players involved look like they will play very much.

It looks like Gordon Freeman may end up a position player... he looks like a fairly good centerfielder with no power... really strange why the AI has him batting cleanup.

With the new logos for Eastshore and Turon, at least, I should be able to hopefully improve the items I've already posted in my thread, or create additional related items for the teams in question, I think, fairly soon. I don't know if txranger would be willing to modify the Montaneros-related logos he just did to have the proper spelling for them, or change the text to read as something else, but I'd probably best not count on it, just the same. They're very good, for sure, in any case.

But God blessed Abraham with a son named Ishmael around your current age, after all, it seems. I think it quite likely, though, that neither of us is actually going to be a biological father on this side of life, in truth.

While I would love to be a husband and a father, of course, one day, Lord willing, that probably won't happen for me, if certain things continue to happen in this world as they are happening, or will likely happen in the future. I'm getting more at peace with that every day, I hope. Maybe it's just as well that I am not a husband and a father to any children in my life now. For if I was a father and/or a parent, I would probably be much more tied to things of the world, and be less mobile than I would need to be in order to do the Lord's work to the degree of fullness that I need to do it in, I think. It was my error that caused the mistake, not his... I am not going to ask for a revision... he has done some beautiful logos for me... let's be happy with them.

Don't worry about whether it's Montaneros or Monteneros... it is not that important... the important thing is we got excellent primary and secondary logos to use in our leagues done by one of the best graphics guys in then OOTP Community..

Personally, it could be that God wishes me to be less encumbered with things of the world, so that I potentially may better be able to carry out the mission or missions He has given me to do in this life. I may have to move quickly at a particular time, and if I am tied down with a family, somehow, then I may not be able to move as quickly as I would likely need to, it seems to me.

My parents are in their middle to late seventies now, so it is quite likely that they might eventually leave this world in the next five to ten years, at most. Especially seeing as they've both had some health issues making things tougher for them more and more in the last several years, after all. I'm going to be fifty years old myself in just over a year from now, as well. I don't really know where I'm going to be if and when they leave this world, just yet. But I'm still quite sure that if I survive them, God will take care of me as He wills, one way or another, no matter where I may end up. Whether it's elsewhere in this world, or whether I'm finally Home for eternity, Lord willing and all, God will always watch over me, for sure, I know, EC. CD out.

God is in the miracle-working business, EC, as you very well should know by now. But outside of Jesus doing all that He's already done in this world, His biggest miracles are yet to come, for sure. This world's going away, and the world to come is like nothing we can yet fully comprehend or envision, most definitely.

I can't wait to see what it's like, Lord willing, once it comes to be, either, in my heart and mind. But I still know that I'll actually have to wait until I finally cross the Jordan River into eternity before I ultimately can, Lord willing and all, like it or not. Just as everyone else who is His will too, no doubt.

It will be like nothing we've ever imagined or anything in our respective mortal lives to date, for any of us. There will not be words enough for us to speak once we see all that He has been preparing for us all these years, I'm quite sure. We will fall down and totally worship Him who made all things, once we do, in sheer amazement and all. No matter who we are, and no matter what we did in this life, we will, and give Him all the glory and all that He truly deserves in His Universe.

Looks like I'm going to need a new tablet, unfortunately. I set it down some place that I thought was level and stable enough, and it suddenly slipped off what it was set on, and its totally unexpected falling on the floor cracked the bottom half of the screen to a fairly considerable degree. I'm not happy about it, of course, but sometimes things like that happen, to be sure. Don't know how long it will take to replace it, but hopefully, somehow, it can be replaced soon, obviously.

My brother said things like that can happen, however. I don't know how soon it can be replaced, just yet, but I'll still hopefully be able to use the device in question at least a little in the meantime. Not as much as before, of course, but maybe a little bit, anyway. Or at least long enough to try and get data off it, if necessary and possible and all, that is, anyway.
