Possible DB corruption

I was on the pre-season and had made a trade offer to another team, the offer was one that they needed to review, so after sending the trade I had to wait a few days...

In between those couple of days, my awesome Windows 10 decided to crash.... Upon reloading, I tried making the same trade but seems that the players I had originally submitted are currently seen as "involved in a trade", which isn't the case because the save was before I actually had made the trade prior to the crash...

I'm checking the pending trades and there's nothing there.

Is there a way to clear that error so that I can indeed trade the 5 players in question?

I don't know if you can do this or not, but try going into Commish mode and then "Act as" GM for each team, one at a time, and try cancelling the trade from that end.

Like I say, not sure you can do that but it's worth a shot.

I didn't make that other thread to make you feel bad. I've seen this happen before and I've been meaning to make that thread for awhile now but just never got to it.

btw...there are some tips and tricks you can try to get your league running "mostly-ok". I personally haven't tried any so I really don't know the details but before blowing your league up hang patient and see what some others have to say.

I've read stories about guys with league who thought they were ruined that were able to salvage them. (I suspect the underlying issue will remain and it is just a matter of time)

Thanks guys....

First of all, I agree on backing up, it's my own damn fault I didn't do that... Some disaster happens to me in every electronic form before I get off my arse to keep backups... in this case is just dumb since it's just a press of a button.....

I can't cancel the trade from the comm mode unfortunately....

Anyhow... I saved my league and started a new one, I'll hang in there to see if I can fix it, in the meantime I'll give some other things I been aching to try on a new save a test run... it's all good.
