Son of a Coach

First time I have seen this. A player in the league the son of a current manager, in fact oddly, playing in the same farm system as the team his father coaches. The coach never played in the majors as he started with the original fictional year.

I know it is the manager's son because I put a few managers to follow in all capital letters- so beyond the shortlist I can see them easier in leaderboards and news stories.
Then I look and see a prospect with the same all capital last name as the manager. There are no all capital last names in the game, so this was a verification.

Brett and Bruce Bochy played for the Giants at the same time as player and manager respectively

Yes
I was quite shocked to see and realize that OOTP did that in 16.

I've notice this with former players. It's cool to see this happen to coaches who never was in the database as players.

Is there some sort of notification of relations or does the game just add names that wouldn't normally exist in the database?
