"cannot be fired" is checked, still getting fired after tournament

I am GM of a MLB team. Have a Winter Tournament that I setup, I do not manage or gm any of the teams, however during the roster selection period, I do select rosters for one team.

When the tournament ends, my MLB team releases me of my duties. I have to reapply and then rehire my staff. I dread every off season lol.

Was hoping to see this fixed in the latest patch but I'm still having the issues as of last night. It is literally the only issue I personally am having with '19.

Any word on this? This time around the AI made some pretty big roster changes when it kicked me out. I automatically get the job back before I sim again, but the AI still changes a lot.

I haven't done it yet but I think next off season I'll sim up till the day it let's me go then globally set AI to make no changes. We'll see how that goes.

Do you have a save file that you can upload to us with this? I believe we had fixed some cases where a manager was released from their MLB team after a tournament, but must have missed some cases.

Yes I can do that, should have it soon. What's the best method of grabbing it and uploading? Never went through OOTP files before.

If anything there doesn't work, you can also zip the .dat files in your save game folder and send them through any other method (dropbox or google drive usually easiest alternate way to send files).

Ah, I see the problem. We'll see if we can sneak in a fix for this for the upcoming patch. For now, I think if you change that tournament to a Winter League instead of a tournament, then I believe that should prevent the release of the coaches at the end of it.
