Fictional Schedule Question

I cant find the answer to this simple question in the manual or on the forums:

When using "Generate Fictional Schedule" button, is there a way to set a start date? Or does it just always schedule games from the current day onward?

I don’t have the game open in front of me, and I’m kicking myself for not remembering the name of the exact tab right now, but it is on the same screen you can configure your post season, spring training length, and a few other things. On that screen you can set the exact date you want to start the season. Whatever date you pick will be honored when you go to the scheduler to generate a fictional schedule.

You can pick your start day on the options tab
