Service time during playoffs?

I know in real-life MLB if a team calls up a player for the first time in the playoffs, the service time and arbitration clocks don't start (the Twins with Alex Kirilloff, Rays with Shane McClanahan and the Padres with Ryan Weathers did this last year).

Does this apply in OOTP as well? I'm coming up on the playoffs and have had some injuries so I'm weighing who to bring up and this would be a consideration.

I am almost positive that service time won't accrue in the playoffs in OOTP. A full season is still going to be 172 days. If service time accrued, you'd see players accruing more than a full season of service time over the course of a season, if that makes sense.
