Continue last game + settings issues

I tried to upload my saved game file, but the server kept returning an error message.

Upon restarting the game (via Steam), OOTP doesn't remember that I've played a game and thus the CONTINUE option is "greyed out."

Moreover, and likely related, once I enter the game using the LOAD LAST GAME button, the game forgets all my GAME settings: i.e., no sound, show stats instead of ratings, etc.

This happened to me in OOTP 24 as well and it's making the game nearly unplayable because I am tired of reentering all my game settings each day.

This looks like a problem with Windows user settings. Did you try to run the game as the admin? Or was it installed when running Windows as a different user?
