Computer Releasing My Players

I haven't done historicals this version until this week. Ran into an issue. I noticed my closer was missing the first week of the season. I looked and found him on another team. I looked in his history and it said he was released on 3-13. I know I didn't release him. I looked at my team transactions and it didn't even show any transactions on 3-13. I moved him back to my team and played on. Turns out he was released again on 5-1 and I didn't even notice it until the season ended. I know I didn't release him either time. I also know I have the manager settings were I control all releases, majors and minors. Any idea what's up?

The usual suspect is simming with Do Not Disturb on in the manager’s office.

Also, after every year it changes my depth charts.

Are you playing with historical lineups or transactions? In those cases, the game will move players around based on where they were playing in real life.

Screenshot the Manager's office page. The only other time I have seen this was when someone was "Acting As" and had not actually taken the job of running the team. The "Acting As" only gives partial control for limited tasks.
