CreateSurface: Backbuffer

I tried installing this game on my new computer at my mom's house and I got this.

An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function, or the object was not in a state that permitted the function to be called. This value is equal to the E_INVALIDARG standard COM return value.

Was that during installation or after installation while trying to start the game? (Note: Add your key PC info as well - OS, amount of HD space, amount of RAM...)

Its not as good as my one at my dad's house but heres the specs: 366 celeron, win 98, 1 GB of HD space left, 64 MB of ram. And it happens when I try and start the game.

Direct X7 or higher installed? What about updated video drivers?
