Pitch Selection
I noticed I had a pitcher with four available pitches: fastball, slider, sinker, change-up.
Yet, to one batter I noticed he reeled of not one, not two, but THREE knuckle-curves! Is this a special pitch that everyone know how to throw? I may "sound" incredulous. This actually doesn't bother me, since he struck the guy out on that third KC, but it sturck me as a bit odd, considering neither the knuckler OR a curveball were part of his repertoire. |
