Sim takes way too long

I seem to be able to sim without crashing but as soon as I hit about 35% of my sim everyday there is probably a 3 minute delay and is especially slow in the offseason, any ideas why?

Reason 1 is probably that there are still six months of optimization left for the coding. Game should be faster on official release come September.

Reason 2 is that there currently is no option to turn off other leagues, so there's a huge bunch of them running in the backgroung.

There might be a third reason related to the computer you are using.

I personally just simmed an entire season in less than 4 minutes. I'm sure individual computers have alot to do with sim speed.

Simming was pretty fast, but I was kinda dissapointed that there were no players to draft in 2014.

i would say it took me 5-10 minutes to sim a full season. I have a pretty powerful pc. The game speed is not as quick as OOTP because there are so many leagues running and it's been said that the speed will only get better.

I have absolutely no problem with the speed. It would take EHM hours to simulate a season so this is fantastic. But with history not being tracked off in the game right yet it would probably slow it down with time.

There were none at all? I definitely added a bunch of top 2014 prospects this weekend, and I know there were quite a few more lower-ranked guys to begin with. What exactly happened during the draft, was it skipped over or did it occur but no one was drafted?

It occured but there was no one to select. So i just selected Let CPU pick and it let me continue on but no one was drafted.

Entered a bug report for the missing 2013 draft, it's not happening to everybody but we've had multiple reports of it now.
